20 Most Recent Microsoft Virtual PC 7 with Windows XP Home (s65-00396) for Mac Questions & Answers

Sorry, but the G4 and G5 desktops have chipsets released prior to the Intel agreement allowing pc's with CoreDuo and Macs with DualCore chips to exchange data, even though Virtual PC for G3 through G5 chipsets did work in running MS OS's prior to Vista, including XP, on mac platforms.

Now, if this helps, you might be able to secure an older version of Virtual PC, since your version works on current Macs and PCs with Vista, to run XP on your G4 and G5.

What I would do is do a system restore and select a date before the update was done. This should restore the program to normal. You can then retry the update. But set a system restore point before you do. So if the thing stops working again you can reset it. If it goes funny again contact the software supplier and say the update is corrupting the software.

General you do not need the software to do this, most of the pics are either in JPEG formate and any software program will work with it. Windows Photo Viewer should be with your software It is part of the Operating System. I use this on any camera or phone I use. There are fancy ones that will edit as well but just start with the one given to you. Plug the phone in to your computer using the cable provided with the phone to do this then it should read a series of options look for a photo viewer that comes up I would use the Windows one then hit get pictures from camera. You should be able to get the photos from the phone. I hope this helped you. John

Simply Hard Reset it, IE: Turn Power Off and On. This should resolve the problem. Any damage, problems, have already occured, but a re-boot should fix it, at least it will return it back to a working desktop.

YO! ;)
Nokia PC Suite / OVI Suite is available free of charge on the Nokia website.
Go to www.nokia.com, select your phone type and look for downloadable items - it will be there.

Unless your drive was mirrored you might need a software like Norton Ghost, Acronis True Image, or Easy Recovery Pro to recover them.
Go to link below to download the latest versions and more.

You may also need to download the
WinRAR program which you can also get at this site. This program puts the files back together. Make sure you make a directory just for these files and when you save place them into this
You will also need this free download at BitTorrent at below link.

After you download the program use bittorrent to completely download the full program from the file you saved. Once this is done it might not need to be pieced together but if it does use WinRAR for that.

Hope this helps, let me know if I can help you with anything else. It would be very kind of you if this does work for you to please rate me or leave a short note. I would really appreciate it. Thank you for your time.

Basically, if your new iMac has the new Intel processor (or any Intel based processor Macs) your Virtual PC v7 will not work on it. It is designed for iMacs/Macs that are not Intel Based machines (that run on the Motorola processors like the G3, G4 lines, etc).
All Intel based iMacs/Macs are capable of running Windows using a Dual boot startup that is available at the Mac Store or online. Check the Apple website for instructions, they are always updating the software. :)
