Take the whole thing to a hardware store like ACE and tell them what you are looking for, they have thread gauges and sizers.

This is quite a comprehensive list of small appliance part suppliers. I recommend you go to this site, once it opens in your web browser, press "Ctrl f" which will open a little word search window. Type in "rival" in the space and click "next". Each time you press next "rival" will be highlighted in the next company that sells their parts. You should then be able to find the web-site for that company by scrolling down a bit further.

There is air leaking in somewhere. Make sure there are no wrinkles in the bag at the sealer location. Also, make sure the seal on the bottom of the bag is complete or the machine will simply suck air from the bottom and out the top. Make sure there are no food particles stuck in or to the sealer mechanism.

I don't have a Rival but have a Foodsaver vacuum sealer. If I have trouble getting the air to vacuum out, I remove the black foam seal from the machine, run it under water for a minute, shake off the excess, and reseat the seal. For some reason, the water helps create a seal. It also helps remove food that may have leaked onto the foam seal.

If the wire that heats and melts the bag is damaged, it may not be sealing the bag completely.

small appliances are generally short on spares and cost more to repair than a new unit

Good afternoon to you!
If I remember correctly, from my rice cooker days, then the measurements are inside the bowl.
Mine was hard to see but I saw them . The measurement was in cups.

Hi Mark,
Try eBay or the manufacturer
CHS replacement remote controls instruction manuals audio video... They do spares for most appliances but I don't know where they'll ship to.

What is the model of the cord you need. Also what is the wattage of you skillet?

Rival Kitchen... | Answered on Feb 01, 2015 | 639 views

Firstly is the WOK 220 Volt or 110 volt which is north American because if not 110 it will not work without serious house rewiring to provide you with a 220 volt outlet and then if you find a cord it will need to have the correct end for the 220 outlet you have wired in or you will have to have a compatible outlet to your cord.
