LAMP not switching on NEC HT410
I had the exact same problem and solved it. After calling NEC tech and getting no help, my son and I decided to:
- Remove, clean and reset lamp.
- Completely clean (with compressed air) system.
And it worked. Here's what we did.
- Removed lamp and cleaned with compressed air (in cans).
- Used two cans of air to completely remove all internal dust. In our case long over due.
- Reinstalled lamp and reset meter. (To reset: Turn on machine, wait 2 minutes or so, then hold down the "Help" button right next to the infrared sensor on the front of the machine).
Works fine now! Dont know if it was technical solution but solved it for us! Good Luck!

No projection
This sounds like the lamp has not fired. Try a new lamp. If that fails to resolve hte problem, the ballast is the next assembly to be replaced.

NEC projector M322X indicates light but cannot turn on
Based on the information provided, it is possible that there may be an issue with the projector's power button or internal components. It is recommended to try the following troubleshooting steps:
1. Check the power source: Ensure that the projector is properly plugged into a working power outlet and that the outlet itself is functioning correctly.
2. Reset the projector: Some projectors have a reset button or option in the settings menu. Try resetting the projector to see if this resolves the issue.
3. Check for internal issues: If the above steps do not work, there may be an issue with the projector's internal components. It is recommended to contact a professional technician or the manufacturer for further assistance.
In summary, if a NEC projector indicates light when plugged into a power source but does not turn on when the power button is pressed, it may be due to issues with the power source, internal components, or other factors. Troubleshooting steps such as checking the power source and resetting the projector may help resolve the issue, but professional assistance may be required if these steps do not work.
NEC NP310 projector, can I replace the fan?
Your statement indicates'there is a fan issue'.
It may just require cleaning but may need replacing. Nothing to do with the lamp, unless it has overheated and also needs replacing.
