You have two aux sends on that mixer so quite easy to use one of those to feed the external power amp. You could have one set of spkrs connected to that amp and another connected to the powered mixer. This would give you full independent control over each set.

Sounds like the amp is going into a protective mode.
Make sure your outputs aren't shorted.
If you're into electronics, look for bulging electrolytic capacitors or blown transistors.
Something is tripping the safety in the unit!

The power cord is a standard one used on almost all tower computers... A good source of the cord is at thrift stores... they usually have them by the dozens... Also any computer store or Radio Shack has them.

First of all a link to the manual:http://s3.amazonaws.com/samsontech/related_docs/XM910_ownman_v1.pdf Have a look at page 14, 9. Go out of MixOut ( line level ) into any line level auxiliary inputs left and right on the other mixer. You didn't say what the other mixer is so this is the easiest. What you will have is a sub mix of everything plugged into the Samson controllable by the controls for the line in you are using on your second mixer. There are other options which you should be able to discover by reading your manual for the Samson and the manual for the other mixer.

There is usually a fuse, but if it were bad, the whole unit would be down. Since the right side is working, at least the troubleshooting will go faster. Take it in to a TV or Audio repair shop and get an estimate. Getting more than one estimate is always a good idea.
Good luck, and hope this helps.

The phantom power is used for condenser mics. MAKE SURE you do not plug in other mics or devices that do NOT have balanced, isolated outputs as they will short out the phantom power to others.

You should find between 15 and 48 volts between BOTH pins 2 and 3 of each mic connector when measured to pin 1 of the connector. There is about 6K ohms impedance from the phantom supply to pins 2 and 3.

IF you have an accident and connected high voltage to pin 2 or 3 it COULD back up and blow the bypass cap for the 48 volts.

Please note: ALWAYS power ANY interconnected equipment from teh SAME receptacle to avoid damage due to ground bounce in the event of a fault in a piece of equipment.

You can safely connect your powered monitor speaker to either the monitor output jacks or the tape output RCA jacks on your XP510. In addition, you may download the owner's manual here:

Which amplifier specifically?

Samson Music | Answered on May 04, 2014

Here is a troubleshooting hint:

Put an incandescent lamp in series with the hot side of the power cord. This acts as a resetable fuse while troubleshooting so you don't blow fuses.

Schematics are hard to come by, but power supplies are easy to trace the circuitry.

Check filter caps and the diodes and THEN look for hot (temp) IC's and transistors.

It is a physical keyboard, but you can download data from the Casio website. The manual is also in the link
