Logitech X530 subwoofer buzzes when powered on
this is normal. most strong but non-professional sound equipment has a low frequency buzz to it, especially if there's a router/cellphone/microwave near by. This is an electronics issue, when the output impedance (speaker resistance) gets in sync with the input impedance of the built in amplifier and you get a sort of a sygnal loop, just as it happens on concerts, when the mic is placed directly in front of a speaker, at a certain distance, so the output syncs with the input. What's important is to have clear sound on all speakers. If you have buzzing sound even with all speakers plugged in and playback is on, then you'll need to check the power cord, the audio cables, and also the sound card's output settings. Sometimes, especially if we're talking about an on-board sound adapter, the output quality is far from perfect, and good speakers are all too good to show any inperfection. I'm afraid the only way to have a zero-level input for audio amplifiers is to cash out several hundred bucks for the amplifier alone, and another thousand for the speakers.
