Volume control keys on my jbl creature 3 speakers are not working what to do

If you remove the knob and Put a very small amount of WD40 down at the base this can help clean and lubricate the Knob inside. This sometimes cures the problem. If not the volume knob will need to be replaced i included a link to a page that shows The knob and it is just 2 wires. The volume knob can be picked up at a radio shack.

Just moved and was disappointed

It must be a power adapator problem. Most of the power adaptors do not have a indicator to show you if its working. Is the power indicator on the subwoofer module working if not I am right about the adaptor.

I can't seem to get the volume up button to respond

Its a touch button. Don't tap it. Just keep your finger on it and you should hear the volume increasing.

The green light is on.. but no sound

Which operating system ???... Click start control panel sounds and audio devices select advanced there might be a tick in the mute box untick it. Click start control panel sounds and audio volume advanced speakers make sure you have selected the ((appropriate speakers)) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the correct settings there also try swapping the speakers around if the problem still persists either the speaker is faulty or the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good or you might have to clean the dust from your computer dust causes static which causes your computer to overheat and all sorts of problems be sure to wear an anti static earth strap before touching anything inside your computer try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor or a can of compressed air making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the CPU central processing unit and your SOUND CARD dust causes static to build up in a computer causing it to overheat any many other problems
