Good morning, I have the Hyundai

Yep, I can help but I am afraid that I won't be able to bring totally good news.

The TV is in forced standby also called "protection". Protection kicks in when an internal fault such as a short (big power draw) or a wrong voltage is detected. The click comes from a relay activated by the protection circuit to force TV to shut down.

All you can do is disconnecting the power cord, checking if there is a fuse built in the power cord, replacing fuse and connecting back after about 30 minutes (that allows power drain). If the TV does not work there are faulty internal parts that need replacement.

If now the TV does not start at all, and not even the standby light is on, then the problem is usually the PSU. The part must be tested and eventually replaced.

Here replacement parts for most flat panel TV models:ShopJimmy.

Audio of Hyundai tv set

Some components are getting heated up most probably in the sound section due to high voltage. Either there is a failure of regulated power supply to that are or the IC or other components in the board are defective. This is a case to be handled by a qualified service technician, as the back cover has to be opened.

Once the dvd disc load

In most cases when the CD does not play it is possible that the optical head is a suspect. Sometimes it might pick up ordinary audio CD but will not play other formats. This indicates that the optical head is weak and so there is no detection or scanning of the CD . If the optical is working the tracks will be read immediately but with no scanning the laser head can be defective.

The main motor will not work in some cases as unless the tracks are read the drive motor will not work with signal from the processor. Also in some cases the central motor base can shift and so the distance to the disc can be more resulting in low detection. You can pull up the spindle to come closer. Sometimes certain cleaner disks will not be tracked to run for cleaning as it will not be read and so will reject. Hence it is ideal to manually clean the laser head eye using a cleaning swap /cotton bud with gentle pressure on the lens eye.If there is no result then watch if the CD spins or tries to spin. If so the board seems to work unless a test is taken on the main board but the possibility of a defective optical head can be the suspected fault. If any of the above seems otherwise we must recheck with possibilities of a malfunction of the main processor board

Hello! We have a hyundai plasma tv, model 4241S

The plasma screen is literally burned down - used up, worn out, whatever you want to call it. This is a sign that the screen is near death due to its age and not a defect. There is nothing that can be done to save it, the tv is dying.
Time for a new one.

The surge may have scramble the mother board, try unplugging it for about an hour to let it reset itself, if that does not work, then you may need to replace the main board.

I have a Hyundai HPD719

Your best bet is likely to be Amazon.
If you can't find the specific one for your player they do sell a variety of 'universal' in car chargers for all sorts of electronic devices with a selection of inter-changeable end connectors to suit your equipment.
The charger socket on your player should have a symbol on it to indicate polarity (whether the pin or sleeve is positive or negative) it should also show the correct voltage required - check that any charger you buy covers that voltage range.
