There are tow reasons for this fault with Hundai sets. The first one is with "Reset", and the second one is with its power regulator circuit board. As the set is now in OFF condition and no screen is available to get a reset option, the fault will be due to the power regulator board itself.
Open your TV, and locate the power switching regulator board. It can be located very easly, as power cord will go diretly to it after the main panel ON/OFF switch. I'll give you a picture of the picture of a typical power board here. Usually these board are irrepairable, and must replace it as card basis. Check for any bulged capacitors, as shown in the picture, in the power board. If so; replace them. This is the only repairable thing with these type of boards. If there are no such capacitors seen, unplug out each pluged in connections on this board one by one and reconnect it. If any loose connection proble is ther, doing this will rectify it.
If nothing helps you, replace the board. This board will have a number printed on it, which should be noted when buying anew one. The board can be bought from most of the electronic sparepart shops at your town. It can also bought from the Authorised Service center for Hundai also. OK.

Problems with these TVs not turning on are usually capacitor related. Take the back off then look on the power supply where the power chord goes look at the fuse next to the plug. See if it's physically dark if so, the fuse is most likely blown and you should just look up the board number on E-bay for a new power-supply for a more costly, but easier fix than a repair shop. While the back is off, look for capacitors that are puffed and see if they need to be replaced. There are usually 2 caps by a heat sink that look bulged.

If this doesn't work, you're going to have to change the power supply. Or get it repaired for
195-230 dollars.

If anything this sounds like an issue with your monitor. Can you verify the make and model of your monitor. Also have you adjusted your resolution settings at all to see if that was the problem? Once I have more information I can assist you further.

I may have one later if the customer decides not to replace the power supply (might ping me in a month). Otherwise I believe this unit is actually made by Samsung and parts are a little more common for Samsung. Do some digging around google and ebay and see if you find any more information.

This is quite a common problem on LCD televisions.
It is not a fault you can repair yourself unless you are a competent electronics engineer.

One of the transformers on the inverter board will be the cause as the tend to go open circuit. Being surface mounted adds to the dificulty of changing this item as well.

Called tech support in Calif and they returned my call within the hour Friday afternoon. Same roblem with on off and they said to take to TV repair and have tech call them if need to troubleshoot.

If the screen is broke as in "cracked", it's typically not practical to replace that part.

The DVI adapter stops the audio. Use the audio out ports on the bluray player to connect an audio pair cable to the tv.

You can reset and eliminate the lock on some televisions without the remote, using a few tactics. Hold the power button for five seconds. The television will automatically restart. If the lock is still on, unplug the television and remove the battery from the back panel of the television.
