Lite On LVW-5007 Questions & Answers
No response
I had a similar problem I simply removed the cover (about 4 phillip head screws) and the cover plate of the disk drive(just pull it off) and removed the disk.
Ensure that the drive is not jammed by moving the drawer forward as if it would when it opens.
Replace the disk cover and close the case using the phillip head screws. Plug it in again and let it boot up. Try opening the door by pressing the eject button. It should work.
This worked for me. I have a bad drive and want to replace it so I explored a bit on how to remove it.

TLX-04243B Dead set Red blink lite on right front corner
Those blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

Dvd wont eject
Look for a tiny hole in the front of the tray. Use a paper clip to press in on it. Should pop out easily.

Hi The disc tray has remained closed with a dvd
There is an easier way to remove the cd from the drive than to visit a professional. There is always a hole in the front of the drive, may be on the try front or just below it. If you insert a paper pit into this hole and press a little when resistance is felt, the tray will slide open as the pin releases the lock. And your CD is sitting there. Happy Holidays.

He dont recognize the disk
Put a disc in with the label facing up and note the orientation (ie rotation) then when the disc ejects, see if it's in the same orientation (rotation). If so, the motor is not spinning the disc and it would need to be serviced.

Hi,
FIrst switch Off the power supply. There is a hole just beneath the DVD tray. take a thin wire or unfold a office paper clip.Push the wire gently and the DVD will come out. There can be a mechanical failure, due to which it happened. switch On power supply, take our DVD try two -three times, if it works normally then i think ou problem is solved
