I somehow changed the input

You must press a single button to switch between sources - depending on the type of your remote it will be labeled TV/AV, INPUT or an arrow pointing inside a square.
You can also do it thru the Menu - Inputs section.

Mitsubishi tv model VS6061 rear projection with rolling picture.

I know this is an old thread, but I would like to post this information in the hope that someone will find it useful.
I just finished fixing this problem on my 1994 VS-6061... the problem is the PIP (Picture In Picture) board located on the Power Signal board. The PIP board contains the numbers 530B552. I bypassed the PIP board by following the directions I found at the following link:
http://forum.doityourself.com/entertainment-center-tvs-stereos-vcrs-dvds/130383-mitsubishi-cs-35301-rolling-picture-problem.html
"Plug in a 4.7ufd @ 35v filter cap (+)at pin 5,(-)at pin 11. Plug in a .01ufd(any voltage) between pin 7 and 9. Just plug the caps into the socket, where the PIP board was mounted (they don't need to be soldered). Just don't let the leads from the two capacitors touch, as they cross each other. The 0.01 cap is non-polarity, so either way it plugged is fine. Basically you will bypass y-signal through 4.7u, in pin 5, out pin 11, and bypass c-signal in pin 7, out pin 9 of the PIP socket.”

The bypass requires 2 capacitors: One 4.7ufd @ 35v and one Non-Polar 0.01ufd @ any voltage.
Remove the PIP board, then plug the two capacitors into the socket where the PIP board was mounted: plug the 4.7ufd capacitor with (+)at pin 5,(-)at pin 11 and plug in the non-polar .01ufd capacitor between pins 7 and pin 9.
If there is a ground wire (possibly brown) soldered to one of the tin cases on the PIP board, then you should connect this ground wire to the PIP socket either at pin 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 which are grounds of the socket.
This PIP board was used in many Mitsubishi televisions and they were plagued with problems...This is why many of these older Mitsubishi televisions had similar problems…
Good luck

I have 60 inch mitsubishi hd DLP flat panel

If you see absolutely nothing on the screen then you may have a problem with the Lamp unit. If you can see around the back of the TV look to see if there is a vented opening with a noise of a fan and a rather bright light. If you see there is no light then try a reset (hold power button for at least 10 seconds). Turn the TV back on and the green LED should flash for a bit. If you still have no picture or video of any type (completely black screen) and have sound only you probably have a bad lamp. These lamps are around $125 or so and can be bought on Amazon or other sites that sell these parts. It's fairly simple to replace but make sure that the tv is unplugged and securely re-install the access door. Hope this helped.

Mitsubishi vs 6061 wont turn on

More than likely the problem with your TV is cause 2 but check the other also.

Cause 1.
1. SHORT DETECTS SHUTDOWN (PIN 13 OF IC700) CHECK FOR OPEN L902 PART # 351P155010 OFF Q904 C (15 V SUPPLY) ON THE MAIN PCB.

2. SHORT DETECT SHUTDOWN (PIN 13 OF IC700) CHECK FOR SHORTED D913 PART # 264P722010 AND OPEN Z901 PART # 283P039020 (Z905 AND Z900 MAY ALSO BE OPEN BECAUSE OF THIS).

3. X-RAY SHUTDOWN (PIN 55 OF IC700) CHECK FOR A LEAKY D5A09 PART # 264P244030 OFF PIN 6 OF IC5A01.

4. X-RAY SHUTDOWN (PIN 55 OF IC700) CHECK FOR LEAKY D5A21, PART # 264P045040, IN THE BEAM PROTECTION CIRCUIT ON THE MAIN PCB.

5. CHECK FOR LEAKY Q5A03 AND/OR Q5A04 BOTH PART # 260P559050, IN THE HIGH VOLTAGE DETECT CIRCUIT, ON THE MAIN PCB.

Cause 2.
1. CHECK C924 (1000 UFD 36V) AND C925 (100 UFD 50 V) IN THE -24 VOLT SUPPLY CIRCUIT ON THE MAIN PCB.

2. CHECK FOR LEAKY D913 PART # 264P722010, OFF OF PIN 12 OF T900 (15-VOLT LINE) ON THE MAIN PCB.

3. CHECK THE CONVERGENCE OUTPUTS, IC8W00, IC8W01 AND/OR IC8W02. PART # 267P007020 LOCATED ON THE CONVERGENCE PCB. THIS THE CENTER BOARD WITH THE LARGE SILVER HEAT SINK.

Good Luck, Big Irish.

Mitsubishi DLP 73 inch TV WD-73738 is blinking 6 red and 1 yellow, replaced the color wheel, and still having the same problem?

The lamp is not enabled possibly due to the colour wheel motor not turning. Any broken glass jamming it? Or the lamp ballast has failed due to an old/worn lamp.

Most likely you need to replace the projection bulb. You can find them online. DLP sets are famous - or infamous - for burning out the bulbs/lamps.

Mitsubishi VCR HS-U580 guide rollers not moving forward all the way. Cassette would not load. Also noticed drum not spinning when powered on

Your Mitsubishi VCR HS-U580 looks to have a problem with the information rollers and drum. Here are some things to check: Look for something blocking the VCR or cassette compartment that would possibly be stopping the guide rollers. Check the belt that drives the VCR mechanism. If it is loose or broken, you may also need to substitute it. Clean the video heads using a head-cleaning cassette to make certain they're not dirty. See if the drum motor is working. If it is not spinning, there may be an issue with the motor. If the trouble persists, it's an exact idea to get assistance from a professional technician or contact Mitsubishi's purchaser support for advice. Be cautious when dealing with electronic devices, and if you are not certain what to do, it's great to get assistance from an expert.
