Storage might have more than a little to do with the problem, especially if it has been subjected to freezing temperatures and/or high humidity, also some types of (used) capacitor do not take kindly to being "rested". Your tv seems to be a high value rather specialised type that would be best, after re-reading the instruction manual, entrusted to a repair shop; preferably a Mitsubishi approved repairer.

Might not be the bulb! IT could be the ballast or a temp sensor.

Possible color wheel issue

The main power supply regulator section circuit fault. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Try plug and unplug headphones, see if sound comes back, could try a reset of tv.

The was a previous answer on Fixya ( John Betancourt Apr 25, 2019 What I did I open it up and removed the panel and clean out the fan.it was very dusty.) Have the internal voltage regulator checked. Possible that it's failing.

anytime something is taken apart, the reverse procedure invariably leaves something out. recheck everything b4 creating a projectile.
