the televisions seakers could have overheated and shorted, your best bet would be to call your local television repair and have them come take a look, from what ive seen in the past the older style projection tv's like your own arevery hard to find parts for and in most cases it's cheaper or smarter to just replace the telelvision with something new.

I would replace your convergence chips and see if it fixes the problems. I know some tv's also have a menu for fixing the convergence. Try that first.

the tv is getting turn on but detect an error that is why go to safety mode.if you know how to check component parts tried to disconnect first the ballast board which may have shorted component. then turn on the tv set if the tv doesn't shut off that was mean the ballast board is the cause of shut down.if you think you can not do the repair just send it to the service shop to do the job.

The model indicated uses a Single convergence IC--a STK-393-110.I have fixed a lot of these and this model was one of the first to use that chip(should be to left side on heat sink as seen from back)Your description indicates one of a few real reasons for the trouble:The chip can get so hot pins break loose inside it and cause this to happen--A resistor connected to the chip is open--usually caused by the chip failing.ONE other common issue--There are some plugs in the front left corner as seen from behind that connect from the main board to the convergence yokes on the tubes----seen a number of these with broken connections in that area especially at the plug/s on the main board.Best way is to unbolt chassis and undo some bundled wires to get chassis up so bottom faces rear of set.Examine connections on chip and all plugs going away from it--also examine resistors (best to use meter) as there are a number of low value ones that protect various parts of the chip from causing damage to main supply.Like all these chips there are 2 voltages somewhere in the 20-30 volt range--one a positive voltage and the other a negative one.Since you need to get chassis loose anyway---look first for the bad connections and then the protect resistors before you replace the chip.Let me know if questions, I am happy to help and have fixed nearly 1,000 of these sets.
