How do I program channels without remote on model cs2601rc

You should have a remote control to make an auto-tune to this set. If you wish to buy its original remote control, contact the authorized service centre, or authorized dealer to your device brand. They can either give you a genuine remote control to your device, or can direct you, from where can you purchase a suitable one. To select a proper universal remote control, you should know about the number of digits to its set-up codes. There are 3 digit, 4 digit, 5 digit, 2 digit and even single digit codes, to some brand devices. After confirming this, check the sites linked here. Both the sites have set-up code list and set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. Check which brand remote control has set-up code/s to your device brand, and buy that one according to availability? Brand name of the remote control isn't a matter, but it should have set-up codes in its code list, to the device brand you have. Please note: Every new universal remote control will have set-up code list, and set-up procedure along with its pack. Never accept a remote control, that hasn't both of this. For more details about the set-up codes, visit the site http://electrohelponline.blogspot.com/ Check this site too. http://remotesearch.blogspot.com/ Universal remote controls are available at most of the electronic spare part selling shops.

Picture takes 10-15 sec to come on after setting all night. Sound is OK.

If this has been taking longer to come up over time, it is likely the picture tube at fault. Time to look into a new set.

Weight

I have one of these TVs and still love it.  The manual says that the weight is listed at 250lbs (approx.).  Most of the TV stands in retail stores only hold up to 240lbs., so that is something to consider.

I have a Mitusbishi CS-40503

Hi sletwin,
This symptom indicated of faulty CRT socket (picture tube socket). A few days or weeks time the symptom will remain and will not back to clear picture. Below is the sample picture of the socket where is connected to the picture tube.

jdvillanueva_18.jpg
You may replace it yourself if you have a little knowledge in soldering and disoldering technique. There are two wire soldered in this socket from the flyback, one is the screen and the other is the focus.
Try to buy from your local electronics supply, bring the actual sample because many types are available at the market.
Let me know if you need further assistance.
Hope I helped you.
Have a nice day!

Sony TV model # KV-J29 MF8 , sound ok in 1 min and led stdy.and no picture

check for bad voltage regulator ic. Check for 160v across your main cap and power supply. Use floating ground, to see if power supply is working. If you have 160v, check for 130v b+ to see if your horizontal circuit is working.

MY MITSUBISHI CS-40503 WILL NOT

Same thing happened to me this week.Solved it today.Apparently this is a common problem with this TV.The cause and solution is actually quite simple.Capacitor C982 47uF/50V leaks and corrodes the 13 Volt Zenier Diode D982.Replace both and your TV will start like new again. Both are on the back of the main circuit board.Takes about 1 hour to fix it.Service call to a TV repair man should be about $100 total or you can do it yourself.Michael Marks(931) 561-1668 Glad to help.

After turning on my big

If its an older television then that is fairly common, it also happens on newer models. The process is literally just like you say, warming up. It takes a moment to get them to active operating temperature. Alternatively you could just leave the television on, a television of that age actually uses more power when you turn it on than if you were to just leave it on all day.

Actually the model is cs-313050.

you didn't mentioned if it is a horizontal line but i think it is.
It seems that you have a faulty vertical I.C. that scan vertical line.Because you it is defective you've lost the vertical scanning thats why you have only a horizontal line on the screen.

You will confirm it by powering on the unit with your cable signal present. When the sound is present on every channel it is confirm that you have a problem on the vertical section. You must look for a qualified technician to solve the problem....

Lines on the screen

Hello
If the lines are thin and spreaded allover the screen from top to bottom, and are equally spaced around one inch of so apart, it will be a screen voltage rise problem. You just decrese both brightness, contrast and colour contols of your TV to zero position, and look into, where there is lines are visible on the screen or not. You should notice this in a drak room, so as to see is well, or close all the doors and windows to make the circumstance to a little bit dark.
If you can see these lines still, it is clear evidence of the above said fault. To rectify this fault you should open your TV. Open the back cover of the TV, and you will see a Line Output Transformer. It is otherwse known as LOT. It can be recoganiized easely as it its size. Normally it will look black in colour and a thick wire from it goes the picture tube's final anode, and look like it is stcked to it with the help of a rubber ******. Other two wires from it goes to the picture tube base board. These two wires are, one for focus and the other for screen.
There will be two controls on the lot, which can be varied, and seem to be integrated with LOT. Among, upper one is for focus adjustment, and lower one is for screen adjustment. Both will be marked as "Screen" and "Focus". You just find out the screen control. With the healp of a screw driver it can be adjusted.
Keep the TV on, Brightness, Contrast and colour to minimum, adjust this control to a little [ a very little movement should be done, otherwise the picture will be get blurred], to just eliminate the lines you see on the screen. Focus control and screen controls are interactable, that is adjusting one may effect the other. After eliminating these lines just up the brightness and contrast control to at about their mid position and press the menu button on the TV or remote control to get the menu screen. Look at the letterings, and if it seem to be out of focus only, just adjust the focus contorl to get well focused captions. The adjustments are hot, that is while the TV is operating. Take care. Ok.

Tv has no powern outlets

Hi. Many Mitsubishi tv's will generate an error code. To see if yours will do this: Attempt to turn on Tv, after it shuts down go up to the front panel, press and hold Menu & Device, the light on the front will start blinking a two digit code and will repeat the code several times, examples of the code are 12, 34, 23, etc. Most common shut down problem is convergence IC's and fuses.

Once you know what the problem is you can get back on here with the exact problem or you can just call a couple tv repair stores and get firm estimates over the phone on what they would charge. Joe
