If you have replaced the DLP lamp and are still experiencing a black screen, along with a flashing red/orange light, there are a few possible causes. One possible issue is with the color wheel. The color wheel is responsible for producing the colors on the screen, and if it malfunctions, it can cause the TV to display a black screen. Another possible issue could be with the ballast, which powers the lamp. If the ballast is malfunctioning, it can cause the TV to fail to turn on. It is also possible that there could be an issue with the power supply or the main board.
In order to determine the cause of the issue, you may need to contact a professional technician who can diagnose and repair the TV. It is important to ensure that any repairs or replacements are done by a qualified technician to avoid any further damage to the TV.
It sounds like the wire you're describing is likely a connection wire for the audio component of your Mitsubishi 73838 projector. It's important to reconnect this wire properly in order to restore audio functionality to the projector.
Here are some steps you can take to reconnect the wire:
Identify the connector on the circuit board where the wire originally came from. This should be easy to spot as it will likely be the only empty connector in the area.
Carefully reconnect the wire to the connector, making sure that the wire is securely connected and properly aligned.
Check to make sure that the wire is not in contact with any other components on the circuit board, as this could cause a short circuit.
Power on the projector and test the audio to see if the wire has been reconnected properly.
Please be cautious when handling the projector. It's best to be sure that the projector is unplugged and you have a static free environment. Also, be sure to check the manual of the projector or consult the manufacturer to ensure that you are handling the projector in the correct way.

A blinking green light on a Mitsubishi WD-65833 television can indicate that the television is in standby mode, and is trying to establish a connection with a signal source (such as a cable or satellite box).
First, make sure that the TV and the signal source (cable or satellite box) are turned on and properly connected.
Check that the cables are securely plugged in to the TV and the signal source.
Make sure that the TV is set to the correct input (e.g. HDMI1, HDMI2) to receive the signal from the cable or satellite box.
Try unplugging the TV and cable/satellite box for a few minutes, then plugging them back in to reset the connection.
If the green light continues to blink, and you have tried the above steps, it is possible that the problem is with the TV's internal hardware or software. In this case, you may need to have the TV serviced or repaired by a professional.
It is also important to check the TV's manual or the manufacturer's website for troubleshooting information specific to your model.
Please note that the reason of the blinking light can vary depending on the TV model and the specific issue.
Mitsubishi rear projection DLP keeps turning off and shutting down. The red light then turns on for a while and then turns off. TV can be turned on again and works fine until a random shutdown occurs again. No fault codes are stored. No blink codes. No airflow warning messages. The original thermal sensor was replaced 8-1/2 years ago. Fans are completely clean and running smoothly. I fixed this problem by replacing the 8.5-year-old thermal sensor. The problem is gone. Mitsubishi thermal sensor part number 299P313010A. Manufacturer part number YS11A95B-C6. Do not use the connector plug. Strip the wires, and hard wire and solder the 2 connections. This might also apply to these models: WD-52631, WD-57731, WD-57732, WD-65732, WD-57831, WD-65831, WD-Y57, WD-Y65
Take the board out and use your heat gun to heat the board. Look for any loose connections and resolder if needed. I see why you when with inverter replacement. It sounds like a board issue.
Hello, one of the fans are bad or just clogged up, but only vacuum them off, NEVER blow them out, you'll wind up with dust bunnies in your optics causing blurry spots on your screen. Thanks Techman 57
all PC and TV and projectors all those have fans.
for sure thing that run faster, than say notepad
and yours does fan all fans suck in piles of lint
learn to clean it or have shop do it.
if ignored the fan jams up with lint, and stalls or makes noise (bad)
and stalls. all things with a fan does that.
and causes overheating damage that wrecks all elecronics with fans.
it needs service do get serviced
or rear the service manual
or learn to clean it your self.
that was 3 answer, YOU CALL
Your TV is stopped working and it would be more cheaper to purchase a new TV than to try and repair the TV that is not working anymore. It could be the power supply inside of the TV is not working.

Hi Raymond....make sure the mute isn't on and internal speakers are enabled, if that checks out look at main board issues, a new board will correct your issue
