you not going to find out this dang thing , because they don't have, but you have to clean up transfer belt unit

1-the sensor that tells the tray it is up, may be bad
2-the trays may be out of alignment (are the trays crooked?)

Try to properly close the cover and also the Drum Section

If there are no obvious paper pieces stuck, you could have either a problem with the dirty or worn rollers in the ADU, a dirty or defective sensor, or most likely a clutch problem in the ADU. Likely will require a service tech on site to repair to no obvious defects are seen.

Try to check the fuser section.
- Check the Lamp
- Check Motor Assembly

Either the lens sensor is not seeing the lens at home position, or the lens is not getting there. Also check fuse 303 on the DC board.

there are three posible causes for the above mentioned problem

1. Scanner lamp blown
2. thermistat blown
3. Home position sensor is not working

One or a combination of these three conditions will cause E103 and hense you can replace as appropriate.
