Is the phone line working? Do you have any devices connected to the phone line that pick up before the fax machine? Make sure the machine has paper and is set to FAX or AUTO. Is there a Memory Full error? Clear the memory (Setup > Memory Clear then press Start/Enter. Use the left and right arrows to select the items to remove. Press Start/Enter twice (second time to confirm the choice). Repeat until all memory is cleared that you wish to clear. Then press Stop to exit.)

If you are using the ANS/FAX mode and have an answering machine connected to the extension port, disconnect the anwering machine and switch to FAX or AUTO. Check if the machine receives faxes. Sometimes the extra device causes interference. Call the fax machine from a different phone number and see if you hear the fax tones.

Check that the Junk Fax barrier is off, if the incoming call is from a machine that is not listed in your speed dial database. If you have a distinctive ring, make sure that the Fax machine has learned the ring by pressing Setup go to DRPD. Choose Set and call the fax machine from another phone. The LCD will say Waiting Ring until it gets that call and then once the ring is learned will say END DRPD Setup

(If you have a phone company voice mail service, the faxes may end up stuck in that box. It depends on how many rings the fax is set to wait before picking up versus when the voice mail opens to take the call.)

This is a well known fault with fax machines and unfortunately the main board and or the power supply has gone faulty. there is no fix other than to replace them. Its probably not cost effective. look for a replacement machine.

you need to replace the fuser bulb which is used to heat the paper or thermostate which controls the temperature..

if you have changed the drum/toner unit then the machine should have a fuse on top of the drum unit.I have come across some cartridges that don't have them on the unit.The fuse resets the fax so that it knows there is a new unit installed.If that does work then clear the machines memory using the control panel

This means the heater in the fixing unit is not functioning properly. Either the element is blown, and not heating up, or there is a temperature regulation problem.
It will need a service technician to repair this

Check your paper guides or your seperation clauws is not good. Let your fuser unit be check out.

You can only receive a fax by pressing *9* from the extension phone which is connected to the fax machine.*9* is an universal code. for more u can read up your user guide.

first you have to set the fax machine in auto answer mode.so that you can automatically recive the incoming faxes.

Hi there try this press menu then using the arrow keys go into machine settings I think if not you are looking for line type. Once in the make sure it is set to tone.

Once you have done this come out and try if this doesn't work then the control panel maybe faulty and you could take it apart and clean the number pad keys and make sure that the buttons move freely.

If they do cleanup and put back together and check machine if it still doesn't work then the panel will more than likely need replacing.
