Sanyo R227 WiFi FM Radio - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
No power sanyo r227
I had the same problem. A defective capacitor is trying to charge near the audio chip . My solution : I have remove the audio chip (the one with big heat sink) and I use the aux out output to my amplifier. When plugging it takes some time to finally work : but once plug and working it stays on and work ok.
My sanyo r227 internet radio just flashes quickly
Flashing is caused by bad capacitors Caps on power supply board all go bad sooner or later, so replace them all ($5). Look for bulging tops especially, and the green ones are the worst. Power spike could have caused poor quality caps to fail. Don't want to fix it, sell it to me.

Could be bad capacitors or fuse. Fuse is inside under a plastic cover as I recall. Caps on power supply board all go bad sooner or later, so replace them all ($5). Cal I bye a new or referb power supply board?
If you can get a refurbished power supply board, buy it. They are as good as those new from factory. I bought a refurbished Sony Radio - Cassette - CD player 23 years ago and it's still good!
Scematic for sanyo r 227
You'll never get this from them, as others have tried. Sanyo is now Panasonic (Matsushita). Also sold under the Medion name (in Europe I think).
Sanyo r227 flashes when plugged in
Most likely bad capacitors on the power supply board. Replace them all (6 or 7). Same thing happened to mine. If you see green capacitors (KSC brand) they are definitely bad. Notorious for failing. Cost about $4 for me as I do it myself. Don't want to fix it yourself, sell it to me.
Radio powers up. It connects
If this has worked before, try to power down the device then power it back up.
Do some tests. If you have an ethernet cable / cat-5 cable have it connected to the router that you are using. Power down and turn it back on again. Check if it works. If it does not it may be an issue with the router.
If you can connect the radio directly to the modem please do so to test if it is the router or the radio is the issue. If you can connect, check the router for blocked ports especially if only on certain stations the problem exists. If directly connected to the modem and still the same issue check with your ISP if they are blocking ports or any traffic otherwise it should work since the stations are detected. It may be a bad unit.
My Sanyo R227 was working
Try power cycling your router.
-Unplug from the wall
-Wait 10 Seconds
-Plug back in and wait for all the lights to go green
Sanyo TRC 1149 winding and playback faults
Hi,\015\012\015\012I'm sorry to hear that.\015\012\015\012This is a common fault on cassette decks and can be caused by a number of things.\015\012\015\012The most common is the motor being seized or worn.\015\012\015\012If the motor spins when you touch the belt then the problem lies in the drive mechanisms.\015\012\015\012There is a good chance that the drive belt has perished and needs to be replaced.\015\012\015\012If the deck is drawing too much current when you switch it on the fuse will blow.\015\012\015\012If the fuse is fine and the deck runs for a few seconds before cutting out then the problem could be one of the capacitors in the power supply.\015\012\015\012If the deck is more than 10 years old then it may be time to replace the capacitors.\015\012\015\012You can do this yourself if you are a little bit handy with a soldering iron.\015\012\015\012That's about it really.\015\012\015\012

What is the FM ANT and how do we use it on a Sanyo DC-DA1460M
Hello Hannes, FM ANT, is the connection of the antenna to receive FM radio stations (Frequency Modulated) Here you can connect a cable of approximately 1 meter, and use it as an antenna, depending on where you are, rural or remote areas. the city, you might need an external antenna, similar to those used for analog TV reception
I sent you a link to download the user manual of your Sanyo
