I have a Sampo flatscreen tv model LME-17S3 with

Hello Sir Ruben,Before we start our session I would like to thank you for using our site (FIXYA) and choosing my service out of many experts here..If your question is,,It is worth to repair?the answer is yes..That problem is very common on LCD TV..As a TV tech for 5 years I already encounter that problem many times so I can easily determine the problem only on visual situation so you don't need a multimeter to diagnose the faulty parts..OK let's start by following the procedure below:
  1. Power ON the TV.
  2. Look at the screen if have a stable back-light even no picture..
  3. If you can't see back-light try to unplug the TV while you look at the screen..If you have back-light you should see a flicker light comes out on screen (very fast flash).
  4. If you see the light like what I said on #3..Your problem is on T-CON board.I can't see your T-con board online so its better if you get the part # for specific parts and easy access the board online.
  5. If you can't find the T-CON board..some of LCD TV specially 17" TV and below the T-con board is usually built in the main board.
Look sample picture of main board (part # QPWB11378-1G-4) below:2_12_2012_1_54_34_am.jpg 6. If your TV doesn't have back-light the problem is on the inverter board (part # QPWBGL957IDG-1).This is the sample picture:2_12_2012_2_00_07_am.jpgHope it helps..Please don't forget to rate my answer..Have a nice day!!!!Regards,Chester.

I have a sampo 17s3 and the power button turnd on

This could be a bent pin or bad controller board inside. Check for bent pins on the connector.

also check inside and see if the solder joint did not give way due to heat if so redo them.

Do not give totally up on this device as it can be fixed for under $45 bucks. Btw, I’m available to help over the phone in case u need at https://www.6ya.com/expert/edwy_1a56970cf1ea4620

Have a 42" Sampo plazma

Hi,

Before we proceed, i would like to share few details. The life of plasma totally depends on the usage. For a normal user it is anywhere between 10 - 14 years. There are few people who have actually used it for even more years depending upon usage and care. However, as i have no idea whether you have sparingly used it or the condition, so i would take an average life span. So, as a normal user you are left with less than 4 years before you would see other parts worn out. These are made in such a way that they mostly require replacement than repair, so cost is always a factor before getting them repaired. There is a thumb rule - when the cost of the repair is more than half the amount of the product, buy a new one.If are experience in electronics, could read schematics and would be able keep precautions, then it's different - you could save labor cost. Unless it is better to replace it.

I am sure you must have checked all the connections to make sure there is no lose connection. As unplugging didn't help you, there could be few causes ranging from digital board, sustain boards and few more. The more probable cause is driver board failing. If you call a tech, it would be an expensive deal taking into consideration the cost of the new plasma TV's and age of the TV.

Note - As i cannot diagnose the TV, this information is purely based on what i saw on most occasions on the basis of the description you gave.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

Pioneer PRO-FHD1 Plasma Monitor Start-Up Problem.

Based on the symptoms described, it seems that the issue with the Panasonic plasma monitor is related to failing capacitors on the Power Supply Module. The fact that heating the board with a hair dryer temporarily fixes the issue confirms this hypothesis. It's recommended to replace all the capacitors that show signs of failure or have a bulged appearance, as well as any other faulty components on the board. It's also a good idea to have an experienced technician diagnose and repair the issue to ensure proper and safe handling of the components.

Have a Diehl Controls PCA from Ikea dishwasher with blown R513. Any idea what value this was? Diehl Controls PCA but only markings are: 771 359 CTI o S1600.

It looks like the R513 on the Diehl Controls PCA is a 4.7k Ohm Resistor, according to the Ikea service manual. I suggest double-checking this information with the manufacturer or a qualified technician to confirm it is correct. If you do need to replace the resistor, be sure to use one with the same specifications as the original in order to ensure it will work correctly.

How to fix error 1 code on brb5200
