Have a 42" Sampo plazma
Hi,
Before we proceed, i would like to share few details. The life of plasma totally depends on the usage. For a normal user it is anywhere between 10 - 14 years. There are few people who have actually used it for even more years depending upon usage and care. However, as i have no idea whether you have sparingly used it or the condition, so i would take an average life span. So, as a normal user you are left with less than 4 years before you would see other parts worn out. These are made in such a way that they mostly require replacement than repair, so cost is always a factor before getting them repaired. There is a thumb rule - when the cost of the repair is more than half the amount of the product, buy a new one.If are experience in electronics, could read schematics and would be able keep precautions, then it's different - you could save labor cost. Unless it is better to replace it.
I am sure you must have checked all the connections to make sure there is no lose connection. As unplugging didn't help you, there could be few causes ranging from digital board, sustain boards and few more. The more probable cause is driver board failing. If you call a tech, it would be an expensive deal taking into consideration the cost of the new plasma TV's and age of the TV.
Note - As i cannot diagnose the TV, this information is purely based on what i saw on most occasions on the basis of the description you gave.
Let me know,if needed further assistance.
Hope i helped you.
Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

do a reset by going into your TV settings. You can also look in your booklet that came with the computer contacting sampo directly.

Thank you!
I have a 42" Sampo-PME42S6
You can try a hard reset: Unplug TV from AC mains and remove all cables from TV. Wait about 30 minutes and replug to AC power and redo the cabling. Switch on the TV and see if it works.. this not work check the cable try yo use another pair of cables ,even this did solve your problem then you need contact the company if under warranty ,if its out of warranty then you need get service from local TV repair center....
Good luck..
Sampo DVE-611 apparently powers up
After several power ups, the front panel buttons eventually "woke up". Replaced remote, and everything's working fine. Not sure why the front panel was temporarily unresponsive.
2012 troybiilt super pony transmission axel is trying to slide out how to fix it
The axles may have substantial amount of in/out play, 1/4 inch or more. Does the axle in question actually drive the wheel or does it freewheel? It's a typical differential so if you get both wheels off the ground and spin one wheel, the other wheel should rotate in the opposite direction. The axles are retained by the differential assembly (inside transmission) so if the axle is truly falling out, to fix it will require transmission be removed and opened. Probably not an economical repair unless you can DIY or replace with good used unit.
Tcl power comes on but no picture or sound. Tv has backlight lights when powered on
Hello ! It sounds like you are experiencing some issues with your TCL TV. It's great that the backlight lights are working fine. The blinking *********** light and white screen definitely indicate a problem.
One possible issue could be with the internal circuitry or the display panel itself. It's best to contact TCL support or a professional technician to diagnose and fix the problem. In the meantime, you can try power cycling the TV by unplugging it for a few minutes and then plugging it back in.
As for uploading a video, you can try connecting your device to a computer and transferring the video file that way. Alternatively, you can upload the video to a platform like YouTube and share the link for others to view. I hope this helps!
