When I plug it in

This happens because the power source has failed. What has caused the failure can be found only by testing it - but my guess, based on how it behaves, is that the high tension for the panel is faulty: the filtering capacitors have failed and fried the rectifier.

When you turn the tv on it will turn off

It's in fault protection mode. Relay clicks then Clicks right back off to protect other components from getting damaged. If you are no longer under warranty DIY. Opening the set will void any warranty you may have. The UF capacitors on the PSB are blown. Recaping, a soldering iron and some solder is all you need. Under 20 bucks.

When I turn my SVA-USA

the clicking sound u hear is the relay in ur power circuit board....switching power supply shutdown circuit problem
if ur unit is not under warranty... you will have to open the unit and check the relay if its blown or not... the realy clicking could be due to a blown cap or loose solder connections in the power supply board.... you have to manaully inspect the board...
if u find any faulty caps replace them with the values... please do this only if ur comfortable soldering the unit urself... plasma tv's are known for their lethal voltages... so take all adequate safety measure and ensure the unit is all plugged off before u decide to repair it urself...

if u find the board too faulty ( shorts all over the board... and too many faulty components)... i would advice you to go in for a replacement board...
Power Supply board , part no. for ur unit is LJ44-00025A
you can buy it here
it costs 199$ .... if you could use the part number and find a place where you can get a cheaper price than this... go ahead... but make sure ur board is new... not a second hand one....
always ensure before ordering the board whether the board supports ur tv....

good luck... stay safe...
regards iversh

Power Board for SVA Plasma tv

We have identified a common problems with theses sets manufactured by, SVA, Gateway, Viewsonic, Sampo and a few other brands. They all have a Samsung power supply board (LJ44-00025A), which has cause these units to lose power. There is a easy fix, replace the power board. But you ask why should we? That's the right question. If these boards all have the ability to fail with various parts and within various displays. This has to be a defective part. As of now, there is no recall on this part. Therefore, we are generating a list of customers, who own these displays and are requesting a refund for previously purchased parts or a replacement part at no cost to the customer. We are in the prelimary stages, so please be patient with our efforts.

If have indentified your unit is salvage by an power issue an wish to purchase the indentified part (LJ44-00025A, we recommend you purchase from http://www.adc-ast.com/.

We cannot guarantee that any monies will be refunded by this claim.
