Makita concrete saw dpc7321 won't start has fuel
I'm a retired engineer and work PT as a tool tech for an HD rental ctr.
Compression on a new cylinder/piston is 160 psi. When it drops into the 130~140 psi range the saw becomes hard to start. Below 130 the saw will not run properly and at 90 they are toast. This is mainly due to improper fuel/oil mix (must be one bottle of 50:1 synthetic oil per gallon of regular gas. I use 6 bottles to 5 gallons for addition protection). Because this type of tool works in extremely harsh conditions (concrete dust) it is also imperative to keep the air filters clean. Wash the foam pre-filter after each use with plain water from a garden hose and discard after operating 6 times. Toss away (change with new) the paper filter if dust is present or when changing the pre-filter. Also check the carb hose to the cylinder inlet for cracks. My cost to get a cylinder/piston from Makita runs app. $130. When looking into the cylinder, streaks on the exhaust side indicate improper fuel/oil mix. Streaks on the intake indicate dirty air intrusion.
Good Luck.

My makita jig saw hops while cutting perspex what could be the problem
Check that you've installed the right blades. There are blades that cut on the upward stroke and on the downward stroke. Downward cut blades will kick like crazy. Also make sure the perspex is supported as best as possible to stop it from trying to flex with the stroke of the jigsaw.

I have a makita dss611 saw that has just stopped working
It could be 1 of the 2 carbon brushes when the autostop protection is activated replace carbon brush cb441 194435-6 is a normal problem when the working hours are arrived ,but if your battery is empty it will stopping at once a protection for li-ion deep discharge protection.
Li ION is the best to have allways 1 of the batteries on the charger ,if working and do not full unload it change after a while before its stopped its better for the expensive li-ion batteries but if forget one batterie to use over time ( because you want to save him well-intentioned ) to use it frequently is better when its to deep discharged it will not working anymore the charger will not accept the battery anymore if its deep discharged , to rewake it preloading it only like this way a safe as possible against fire hazard not use chargers of cars or other tricks do a full working loaden battery from the charger and connect with that other battery connect both to each other with 2 1,5 kwdr wires the full battery with the not accepted not working deep discharged battery that was forget for a long time BEWARE to do only connect a polarisation as the + to the + and the - to the - the poles parrallel connect to each other not longer then 3 minutes after that remove the wires and now put immediately the not working battery on the charger and see that its accepted again, if its not working repeat it one time again , not for 3 times its a real battery problem for garantee or replacement do not work on li ion with battery chargers for a car or other full overpowered chargers without knowledge do not open or disconnect wires inside the battery then the Makita battery is immediatly dead . because of fire hazard protection li ion full battery on empty battery + to + - to - not more then 3 minutes if it still not working within 3 minutes repeat it once again be shure the wires are connected correct from battery to battery to preload if there was an battery problem of an empty battery or dead battery.
