Rpm display not working on
In my experience, this is usually caused by a sticky or otherwise malfunctioning cable between the hub and the control panel. You should be able to remove this cable, and housing, to determine the problem. If it's sticky, remove the cable from the housing, clean and lubricate it and re-install it. If it's more than that, you should be able to get a replacement cable from your local Schwinn fitness dealer.
The sensor doesn't seem to be working.. there is
Your sensor is too far from the magnet so it cannot read when the magnet goes by with each cycle. Close the gap to 1/8-1/16th of an inch gap and it will then read again. The sensors over time and when bike is moved can get pulled apart or pushed too close. Don't push too close or it will rub the magnet and that's not good, You can use your thumb to push the black magnetic sensor (pickup) closes to the gap I mentioned and then try the bike again. It may take a few times, to get the correct gap, but then the sensor should read. If you do indeed do have a defective sensor, you can get a replacement part at this fitness replacement parts place (look for schwinn and it's called SENSOR. But, try my solution first and give me a thumbs up when you get it working again with reading your rpms.:.
