I don't think you can as this is the only way to tell the age and usage for the supply changes.

The green roller you mention is probably the drum. It is located behind the right side door. So try this. Close the door and turn the machine off then back on again and let it come to ready. Now open the right side door again and see if the drum (green cylinder) is now clean. If it still has toner on it then you have a drum cleaning problem or bad developer. Either of which is going to require service. I would recommend you call your local servicing company and have it checked out.

Does this line appear when you try to print to the machine? Or when you make copies on the scan bed? If so, then you most likely have a mark on the drum unit. If not, then the **** glass that the document feeder uses is located to the left of the large glass surface, attempt to clean that and ensure that no mark or scuff marks are on the **** glass.

See where the paper jam...if no paper found, check the 2nd transport sensor locate at bypass unit, probably is faulty

If yes, the waste toner will be backed up into the waste tubes, first affecting the primary transfer cleaner unit, then the black drum cleaning unit, then the color drum cleaning units. Or; Developer unit • Check if the developer unit is installed properly. • Check that the developer unit and coupling on the equipment side are properly engaged. • Check that the mixer of the developer unit is rotated. • Check if the developer material is too dark visually. • Check if the amount of the developer material is too large or too small. • Remove any toner or dust on the ATC sensor connector and the drawer connector of the process cover. • Remove any toner or dust on the EPU sensor connector and the drawer connector on the equipment side. Or; Auto toner sensor Harness LGC board • Check the connectors and harnesses between the auto toner sensor and LGC board (CN364). • Check if there is any foreign matter such as toner in the connector of the auto toner sensor. Remove if there is and reconnect it.
