You also can deduce the wastage, because for every size is a wattage, or the other way around. When you are not sure, and it fits, use a bigger resistor. The same resistance (ohm) but a higher wattage is no problem as long as it fits in the housing.

Check the bias on the tubes! Some brands can run with bias set wrong. Also some amps have 4 output tubes and people don't know that MATCHED pairs have to be seperated to each side of center of the group of four tubes.
You probably only have a single EL84 tube in your unit.
I could not find the schematic for this unit... IF the plates of the EL84 are coloring, the bias is set wrong. The plates should remain BLACK and not coloring to dull red or orange. Telling if the tubes are "burned up" can only be done with a tube checker or electronic test equipment or by seeing a bright purple glow between the elements.
Now this is supposedly only a 5 Watt unit so that means it is for LOW volume practice only... If you overdrive this small amp you can PROBABLY burn almost any tubes you put in it. The sound you can expect out of this will not be louder than most of the consumer boom boxes at full volume.
If you overdrive and "flattop" the unit the power tube will overheat and fail... this amp runs the tube in "Class A" which makes failure under overdrive more likely than in Class AB or B. I can't go into the engineering details other than to say at volumes above the design the output transformer will saturate and the tube will have to dissipate way above its ratings.

The Tolex covering loves to stick... Take a dull blade and go all around the edges... then a bit of prying will likely be required.

Korea, 1996, July as best as I can make out from https://forum.gibson.com/topic/139846-epiphone-serial-number-decoding/ without knowing the model and the condition, there's no telling what it's value is. Check reverb.com for similar guitars safe to say tho that a Korean made Epiphone is not a classic (pre-Gibson) and will not be a high value guitar.

Sounds like perhaps a Les Paul Special II, but more detail is needed to say for sure. There was a lot of variation in their Les Paul models. Posting a photo of both sides and the headstock is best. -Has the guitar any binding, and what colour? -Is the back of the guitar white or all black? -Exactly what is on the front of the headstock, 'Epiphone', the 4-diamond logo, anything else? .

The controls should be setup in pairs (as long as the electronics haven't been modified. The two closest to the pickups are the volumes and the other two are the tone controls. The top knob set should be your neck pickup and the bottom set is for the bridge.

That guitar was made at the Unsung Plant, Korea, in June, 2006. According to Reverb it would be worth about US$550-700, depending on condition.

That serial number was used more than once. If it has 'Made in USA' on the headstock, it was made at the Bozeman Plant, MT, USA on July 21st, 2000. Otherwise it was made in Korea in March, 2002.
