My Behringer Xenyx 2442Fx does

The switching power supply has probably failed. See if you can get a number off the power supply board like SPS400 or similar. Unless you are electronically adept this is lkely NOT a DIY repair.

Left side output not working.i

Try headphones... do you get sound both sides (assuming your PAN controls are centered.???
Now do same with the main output cables discoonected... do you get headphones both sides???
Next solo or PFL a channel... do you get sound both sides???
Answer me these as they are tests that I can do some isolation using the circuit schematics. Make sure to answer all three conditions.

Incomplete manual for the 2442USB...no real

Yes, the foot pedal turns off the internal FX whatever the FX is set to... Yeah, I would rather have the manual for several items than a monstrous manual with 5 different languages to sort through...
On page 15 of your user manual the footswitch is discussed. It appears that the footswitch toggles the effects on and off... that is each press reverses the state and there is an indicator on the panel showing whether it is on or off.

I am new . I don't no where to conect mix to

For the whole mix, there are two XLR (mic cable) sockets on the back panel labeled 'Main Output' Left and Right, if your amp has XLR inputs you should use these. Otherwise there are two jack sockets labeled 'Main Out'.

This is a complex desk with a lot of useful options, you're going to have to spend some time reading the manual. Have fun.

When the phantom power is

Don't know what you are saying. Phantom power is only used for Condenser mics and a few DI boxes. Make sure you ONLY use TRS or XLR cables into ANY/ALL inputs when using Phantom power. Please describe what you mean by :some channels decide to come". ONLY change Phantom power when system is off as you will get loud noise often by switching phantom while live.

Nor realy a problem, more

It appears there are internal jumpers that do this on the MX2642A but the schematic does NOT show these for the Xenyx2442FX. These if they existed may be push on type OR they may be ones you have to change using soldering equipment. Carefully open the unit and look on the back of the circuit board. The jumpers would have low numbers... Should be JP1 through JP24.... I have a hunch that they are not provided for your model. Here is your schematic:

http://elektrotanya.com/behringer_ub2442fx-pro_sm.pdf/download.html

Scroll down to the "Get Manual" and click on it to download. The jump[ers would be near the pre/post fade switches for AUX1 and AUX2.

Pluggin headphones into my behringer 2442fx mixer

This happens when you have lose earth connection from your main source power supply. Check the earth connections (grounding) which should be available in the mixer, i.e some power cords don;t have earth wire, so change this if you think yours don't have it. Also check the grounding of the other items attached to your mixer, basically grounding is very important to reduce the static shorts. Try changing the power supply source, change to other outlet and check if it is OK.

I am using the SL

Your dynamic mics should be fine, phantom power provides one positive 48 volt potential to one side of the coil, and a negative 48 volt potential to the other side of the coil so your mics will effectively see 0 volts as these potentials will cancel each other out ( hence the name "phantom" power).
so provided that your microphones are wired properly internally, and your xlr leads are in good condition you will not damage any of your equipment.

I hope this has been helpful

I need instalation diagram for tascam DR-1 to

We don't have any graphic means of diagramming. You also don't say if this is for recording or playing or both. Assuming it is both, your best way would be to get two 1/8 stereo cables that split into two RCA plugs. Go from the headphone out of the DR1 to the CD inout jacks on the mixer. Then with the second cable go from teh CD out jacks of the mixer to the line in of the DR1.

Cant hook computer to mixer

You would need a stereo splitter taking a 1/8 inch stereo plug for the computer into two 1/4 inch jacks to plug into two channels of the mixer OR a 1/8 to 1/4 TRS cable that you go into the Stereo (L) of one of the stereo channels... OR a 1/8 inch splitter to RCA plugs going into the TAPE input jacks of the mixer. You can't really go via the USB cable easily from YouTube,

Where do you connect wires from mixer to stage

Judging from your mixer, I would connect your stage monitors to your SUB outs. Your mixer has 4 of them, allowing you to make 4 separate mixes to 4 monitors.

Cannot activate XT2.5 software for XENYX X2442USB

I don't know what you are putting in... however many activation codes are case sensitive and some do and some do not want seperators such as dashes. Also verify the software is usable with whatever operating system you are using.

Behringer xenyx 2442fx : I need to know the

You should find pwer supply voltages of +/- 15 volts going to most of the op-amps.
You should find 48 volts for the phantom power source.
You should find 5 volts for the FX DSP or any other logic circuits.
You should find a +12 volt.

Here is a manual close to your unit (yours is an expansion of it):

How do you connect a Boss ME-70 pedal to this

Since the pedal is for one instrument only, your guitar should go through it and a Balanced TRS cable should go from the pedal to one of the 1/4 inch LINE inputs on the mixer.

or

If the main switchers are shorted, then likely the driver transistors are also gone.

Fpr personal SAFETY please use an isolation transformer when working on this.

Hint: Use a 60 Watt light bulb in series with the power input to act as a fuse when unit is "restored" to protect it if not quite all of the blown parts are found, during troubleshooting.
