This is unlikely to help. Firstly a clarification. Blu-Ray discs and DVDs are two different types of discs. A standard DVD drive, found in more computers, cannot play Blu-Ray discs. Firstly, insure that your computer has a BR drive. In the case of a desktop PC, there should be a logo on the front of the drive that will indicate. In the case of laptops and netbooks, the logo should be on the bottom of the device. Otherwise you may check the device's properties in the Control Panel to be certain.
Assuming your device does support Blu-Ray, you must have special software to play it. The most common and well supported is Cyberlink's PowerDVD application. Despite the name, it plays BR discs are well. You can buy it at the Cyberlink website here:
http://www.cyberlink.com/products/powerdvd/overview_en_US.html
However, if your device has a BR capable drive, it's likely that BR software was included with it. Check any installation discs that came with your computing device.
