Good quality two stroke oil mixed at 2% 50-1, never use unbranded oil or super market oil, oil from a known two stroke manufacturer, i.e. Husqvarna, Stihl etc.

Echo 2 cycle wont turn over unless you remove spark plug

possible incorrect plug in use if they are too long in the thread , the end will stop piston movement

Why does fuel come out of the exhaust when attempting to start it. I t will not start. It w@s running, and I put a new spark plug in my weed eater, just to do a little maintenance. It's an Echo GT-200R

over flooded ( crank case full of fuel) Take the plug out and let it sit for a long time , then pull the cord for a while dry off the plug , full throttle , no choke , remove air filter replace the plug and try starting it

Echo Srm 230 bogs down at full throttle. Replaced carb with oem.Removed muffler no carbon build up. removed spark arrestor. adjusted high jet on carb still bogs down

search --workshop manual for Walbro carburetors down load the pdf version search --workshop manual for Zama Carburetors down load the pdf version the high speed needle is set first ( one closest to the air filter) to obtain smooth high rpm running then the idle needle ( next to the engine ) is adjusted as you slowly slow down the rpm final idle speed is achieved by adjusting the throttle screw and should be just slow enough that the centrifugal clutch is not engaged

Is it possible for the timing to be off? The spark is ok. new carb. tried a shot of starting fluid. the on\off switch ok I think? New non eth gas. ECHO PB265L Blower. Whaid i miss? maybe you know?

not possible for the timing to be off most small engine starting problems are from faulty diaphragms in the carby It will be either a Walbro or Zama carby so take it into any mower repair shop and they will have the diaphragms in a kit for you

Echo PB-250LN manual, p. 21 Starting Cold Engine, Step 1 note: "Will not run if SAFETY SWITCH not activated". Is Safety switch same as STOP SWITCH.? If not, where is it located?

Echo GT-200R manual does not say which position is to open the choke. It only shows a little image of the choke valve which is not visible on my machine. They could have just said, move up, or down.

Echo srm 225 runs at idle speed only. Squeezing on the fuel lever has no affect on the speed. Any other ideas?

check for a cable disconnected at the trigger if you can move the throttle lever on the carby and it makes no difference then there is still a problem in the main jet of the carby

Just replaced an Echo trimmer head. It worked fine and I turned it off and now the trimmer head doesn't turn when motor is on

Is the shaft seated into the engine all the way and is the gearbox (where the weedeater head attaches) shoved onto the shaft far enough? There’s a set-screw holding the gearbox into place.
