Have you diagnosed the car for error codes? Upon reading your question I first thought about the HT leads anp plugs. You replaced those. Next step is to suspect dirty (clogged) fuel injectors. Pour a whole bottle of a good fuel injector fluid into almos empty fuel tank. Then add ONLY 2 gallons (8 liters) of fuel. Drive car around like "you stole it". Try to floor it or fully accelarate in 2nd gear as mech as you can, revvin ebgine above 4000 rpms.

If there was any dirt, varnish or clog in any injector, this procedure should fix it in a day or two.

Still do get an error code diagnosis as soon as possible. You may be surprised about what sometimes comes up.

The Veloster may or, may not have a manufacturer installed security system. However, what the salesman is trying to sell you is an aftermarket vehicle security system at an inflated price. The vast majority of new car dealers sell aftermarket alarms and remote starters that are installed by an outside company that has a contract with the dealership. These same systems are available at various shops at retail price. The dealership talks you into buying these products by telling you that if you buy it from someone else that your manufacturer warranty will be voided. This is not true. Read magnusen-moss warranty act. I know this because I was the in house installer at several new car dealerships, installing alarms. remote starters, dvd, back up sensors, navigation systems, stereos, etc. for over seven years.
Now, with that being said, not all retail aftermarket shop are the same. Do your research. Read what others have to say about these companies before making a decision to have them install something on your nw vehicle.
