How do I open a model T-50 staple gun?

On the rear of the stapler (if you look at the picture on this web page, the lower right) there is a metal piece that you push in, then down slightly, to unlock. When you release it, a spring loaded bar and follower will come out. You will see where the staples slide in. Put the follower back in the grooves and reinstall.

How do I adjust the depth the brads are counter sunk

There is a dial located by the business end of the Brad that adjusts the depth it fires. Also make sure you air pressure ( written on the stapler ) is set to level issued by the manufacturer. It'll say something like max pressure 90 psi. That would mean you will need to adjust the regulator pressure on your compressor to no more then 90 psi or to what ever number that is written on that sticker. Use a test piece of wood and turn the pressure down if you have no luck until you get the desired results.
