The hardware alarm indicated 00002 is indicating a problem with print head movement. More specifically the error is indicating an error when the Carriage Motor has accelerated. This error can be indicated if there is any thing which may be preventing print head movement, things you can check include; The printer ribbon is not jammed and is located correctly in the printer, You can also check to ensure there is no paper jam of loose paper which may prevent print head movement,You can also check the carriage shaft to ensure it is free from paper dust or any other obstructions. With the printer powered off, the print head should slide freely across the width of the printer, you can then see if there is any obstruction to the print head.Clean the carriage shaft, and ensure it is free from any form of lubricant.Clean the timing strip and ensure it is correctly in place.

Load error

When trying to print on continuous stationery, the display may show "Online Single Load". This will occur if the printer is expecting to print on single sheet paper even though you may want it to print on continuous paper. To clear the error follow this procedure. • Take the printer off-line by pressing the Online key • Press the Setup key • Press the key under "Paperway" in the display • Select Tractor 1 (or Tractor 2 if fitted/required) • Press the key under "Set" • If the job still refuses to print try loading the printer with a single sheet of paper to clear the command. To do this remove the tractor feed paper and close the cover on top of the tractors but not the outside cover. You will see a guide into which put a single sheet of paper and press the key under "Load" in the display. • The printer should commence printing. If it does not, then press and hold the key under "LF/FF" to eject the single sheet. Now follow the instructions above again to select the Tractor. The display should read "OnLine Tractor Load". Load the tractor fed paper into the Tractors and press the key under "Load". The printer should now be ready to print. Check your software settings for the correct paper path type. Ensure that the display does not show "Manual" otherwise you will have to clear this error in the same manner as you have for Single sheet

Tally 2265 is showing AGA

Has something to do with the Automatic Gap Adjustment. Owner's manual says:

For more detailed information, refer to the Reference Manual on the Online CD-ROM, which I do not have (I only have the owner's manual).

You may have to talk with tech support at 800-774-2248. This will be Printronix (bought Genicom and Tally).
