Does it start and run.? Is this just a recoil issue.? Do you use the decompression button on start up.?

The parts manuals for this newer machine are pretty hard to get hold of so there may be experts out there that want to help but cant as yet.

remove the recoil housing and add an extra turn on the recoil cord on the spool to take up the slack.

Take back to dealer. This is a fuel injected engine.. not worth the headache sorting it yourself. It could be a problem with the electronic fuel injection. Maybe as simple as a laptop reset of the programming

check and replace the air filter and fuel filter. Both of these can affect the acceleration.

Stihl Saws | Answered on Mar 14, 2016

does it have a spark and good compression.?

Stihl Saws | Answered on Mar 14, 2016

over fueling could suggest worn carb diaphragm, or blocked air filter, meaning the fuel mixture isn't getting enough air. blocked fuel filters can also lead to poor acceleration.

I've added the TS410 brake down as they're all basically the same and you haven't stated the model to which you're referring.

I've added the breakdown manual for you, have you replaced the fuel and air filters. could be a simple issue of not being able to draw up the fuel from the tank. Stone saws deal with a lot of dust and this seriously effects their running and also their cooling capabilities.

make and model please.

Sounds like a faulty fuel tank vent, creating a vacuum lock. Replace the vent

From nowhere. All of it a paid downloads. no need to try more.

You may get a compression lock of some kind on these engines sometimes (2 stroke and 4 stroke) and I have had this happen a couple of times when trying to start them thinking that the mechanism had seized up when it had not. You pull the cord and it locks solid. You cannot turn the engine over. I have always managed to eventually free it though.
What I would do in your case is remove the spark plug and then see if you can pull the starter cord.

First you need a plunger stopper or take a extra long sparkplug plug which can serve as a plunger stopper. And you can the parts thats centrifugal disc unscrew normally

The vent nipple in the tank is not good open? can also but a thermic problem in the ignition coil is also possible , It is not the first time I do this along with a brand new saw. Go quickly change the saw if, within eight days of purchase entitles you to sit there and not forget your receipt
