The lamp may be out. Projectors need high voltage/wattage lamps. They tend to only last 2000 hours or so, which is about a year or two with normal use.

unfortunately, lg won't tell anyone outside of their service center how to do this. they even recommend that you send it to them. it's their way of ensuring return business. sorry.

chances are there is a short on the power supply board. at this point you may need to replace it.

change the resolution. the desktop is too big.

Punch yourself in the face REALLY hard and then throw the TV out the window and buy a 60" Plasma or a 52" LCD

the power pack of the tv is faulty.check the power pack.it is devided into the standby mode and the main power mode;an ic (POWER IC ) IS RESPONSIBLE IN THE POWER PACK .

This is definitelly not your bulb.

Check if there is any damage to the colourdrum , if not then this is a faulty Mainboard.

Must warn you that LG's Mainboards are very expensive.

This could possibly be your Ballast ( lamp's powersupply ) that is faulty.

It will either need repair or replacement.

Hi, Normally your connection should work straight out. Pls verify that your dvi output is enabled/activated by checking your display properties. In a Windows based OS machine, right click on any clear area of your desktop, click on Properties. Click on the settings tab, Advanced button. Check on the different abs such as Monitor, display and others. There should be an indicator for dual view or enabling/activating your secondary display unit (which is your projector). Hope this be of some idea/help. Post back how things turn up or should you need further information. It may also be of help if you can provide info on your PC. Good luck and kind regards.

For the LG LED TV, you can find the manual and code information on the LG website. As to the codes for the remote, no I can't find them. BUT they might be in the user guide if the following site is legit. You do have to register to get its download. maxent rc 282 remote manual (suprlative-medai.com) I don't even know if they charge for it. I'm not that game to register. There are sites that sell the remote. I'd make use they sold the manual along with it! Just an idea, considering you have the remote. But it might be easier to pick up another universal remote from Wal-mart. The only other link to the manual turned out to be a guy who said in 2012 that he had the manual and for the person who was seeking it at the time to contact him. That suggests this is a pretty old remote you are trying to find the manual for. But maybe you will download it from the link I provided --at your own risk. Some such links are okay, others not. I would at least install Malwarebytes before trying the download.

Usually caused by overheating. It switches off to protect itself. Anonymous, yours sounds like the bulb has failed or the step up transformer. They used to be an HID arc lamp, but the specs say it is an LED! The vertical colored lines that usually show up on a TV's screen is caused by the T-Con board is not working properly. Lots of times this can very easily be caused by from wiring that is not been fully securely fastened.Or the T con board is not working and will have to be replaced.

Your projector will need to be repaired in order for the white lines to stop showing up.

go to set up menu then lamp hours to reset
