Timex Mid Size Sports 1440 Coach Black Nylon Strap Watch - Page 5 - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
I just replaced the battery
It sounds like you're not far off. Peel the sticker back a little, and see if there is a small contact point (usually yellow metal) - this should be marked 'AC'. Short this to the + for 3 seconds, then repeat for good measure. If that doesn't sort it, try taking the battery out, wait about 30 seconds then put it back in and reset if necessary. If there's still no display, obtain a known working battery and try again.
If you still have no display, it's time to give up and admit it's dead.... unless you've been using a plastic coated paper clip.
Good luck.

Replace battery on timex indiglow but just drains battery
It sounds like there is a short somewhere, or the Indiglo function is permanently on.
I suggest you look inside the case and check the movement and how the battery was installed and see if anything looks wrong.
If you can find nothing amiss I suggest you take it to a jewellers or similar that does battery replacements and let them work it out.
Hope this helps.

After taking old battery out of timex watch a yellow flash appeared on screen and will not go away, even after putting new one in...what is problem?
That's a "REALLY TRICKY BIZ MAN !!", opening the watches is nerve racking to say the least. Just out of curiosity, was your watch a "waterproof watch" by chance? They have these intricate rubber gaskets, so small I can't think of anything to compare them to & when you go to change the battery, even when a pro does it at the store, it does not always work!(I got a free new watch when my $6 replacement battery messed up the timer, and couldn't be fixed properly !! Felt sorry for the clerk, & HAPPY for me !).
I don't men to insult you in any way, but are you 100% sure you have "ALL" the pieces, and they arer all in the right place? Of course the other obvious thing is to just go to Walmart, or some lower end jeweler, and ask for some advice, help, or even "Ya got any great deals on a watch man? "
Good Luck To You !

Timex indiglo. Indiglo feature died.
The indiglo technology is time limited (it dims over the years with use) and cannot be repaired - have you had the watch a long time? if so, I'm afraid it's time to get a new one. Sorry!
