1. Press Mode- and set it on the alarm. 2. When you are here, press the start/stop button and the little alarm signal will change. If it is dark, the alarm is on. If you keep pressing the stop/start button the darkness will go away, meaning the alarm is now off.

Timex usually have only one lithium battery, if there is not a second battery then you need to send the watch to timex they will fix or replace it! <3

Ensure you have only pulled it out one notch as two notches only disconnects the battery.

put a note on Facebook and suggestions - take it to a local jeweler, go to Wallmart where they have all kinds of batteries. So, I'll try the jeweler, and I have to find a wallmart - we are 14 miles from NYC - there must be one around here - so - not solved, but suggestions thanks anyway.adriana
