Have new laptop fujitsu/siemens with ATI xpress 200m graphic not integrated
Most likely not. Only high end boutique gaming notebooks are sometimes candidates for video card upgrades and it's usually quite costly. The video card makers are working on external solutions for notebook that may be available sometime this year. You would have to can in contact with Fujitsu to see if that have any options for you but I don't expect any.
Ati mobility graphics card driver
that would depend on what motherboard you have. You can find out what motherboard/graphics solution you have by using a utility like belarc advisor and then download the appropriate driver from http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html
SONY PCG-GR315 graphic card
If it appears fine on an external monitor, it seems to me that the problem is most likely in the laptop's LCD panel rather than the video card.
I did a google search and turned up exactly zero results regarding the SONY PCG-GR315
Are you sure you got that model number right? In any case, chances are your laptop's video device is not upgradeable.
My advice is to go to a repair center or what-have-you and find out if it's the card or the panel; panels can be replaced more often than other integrated hardware.
Graphic card on sony pcg-gr15
There is no replacement for this as the graphics controller is onboard, as in built into the motherboard and not a seperate dedicated graphics card.
You can try updating the driver but i would firstly go to my computer>right click>properties>hardware tab>device manager>click '+' sign on display adapters, select the adapter and right click and select uninstall.
Restart pc and the graphics driver will be reinstalled.
If no change, then it could be that the lcd or the back lighting is faulty and requires a qualified repairer.
My HD 4850 fan is
Your heatsink fan on the graphic card is failing and the motor is going down hill, now saying it has completly stopped..,.. that means the fan motor is done for and need to be replaced to avoid further damage to your graphic card. Would reccommend you not using your graphic card until a new heatsink fan is replaced otherwise you can fry your GPU and suffer a complete loss.
My graphics card will not
How did you get your drivers and graphics? Did you install the whole package? What is the Asus model #? How much Ram do you have? I'm going to do a little research but let me know what you have.
HIS radeon HD 6750
Are you certain that your mainboard is PCIE 2.1 and not PCIE 2.0? PCIE 2.1 cards like yours will not work on a 2.0 mainboard
(2.0 cards will work on a 2.1 board, however) If this is the case, you will need to get a compatible card.If this isn't the case, have you tried this card in a different PC? It could also be that the card has a problem. The last possibility is that there are power issues. A couple of possibilities:
- An external power connector (6-pin PCIE direct power to the video card) is unplugged. Check and re-test.
- Your power supply (PSU) doesn't provide enough power to your graphics card & the rest of your system. Check your PSU's specs against the specs for your card. HIS recommends a minimum 450W PSU, and I would recommend a good quality Antec, Corsair, or PC Power and Cooling or Cooler Master product in the 500W range for this card.
- You got a bad card, or else it shorted out, etc. during setup or installation.
