Some watches won't let you 'decrease' numbers. You might have to count forward, (2023, 2024, 2025....), until it comes full circle back to an earlier year. I have attached a web page for a Timex digital watch. It should be close enough to yours to help.

Timex usually have only one lithium battery, if there is not a second battery then you need to send the watch to timex they will fix or replace it! <3

Ensure you have only pulled it out one notch as two notches only disconnects the battery.

put a note on Facebook and suggestions - take it to a local jeweler, go to Wallmart where they have all kinds of batteries. So, I'll try the jeweler, and I have to find a wallmart - we are 14 miles from NYC - there must be one around here - so - not solved, but suggestions thanks anyway.adriana

Should have been a CR2016 THAT'S PROBABLY WHY ITS NOT WORKING YOU HAVE THE WRONG BATTERY IN IT!
