Lionel 40 Watt Transformer Train Set Track 624253 Questions & Answers
How often should tracks be cleaned. Engine slows down after running for a while
It depends upon how much you run your trains. Run your finger or clean cloth on the rail. If you see a dark mark your tracks need cleaning. You can also run another set of wires from the transformer to the spot on the track furthest from the transformer. You can even run a third or fourth equally spaced apart if you have large loops and long and heavy trains.
Wiring 1122 switches for crossover
Question is unclear. But if you want both switches to throw at the same time all you need to do is connect the 3 terminals on one switch with the matching terminals on the other switch. Run a wire from left to left, center to center and right to right. If the switches do not switch into the same track just reverse the right and left wires on one of the switches.
Is lionel 40 watt transformer from toy train
It would depend on what engine you're trying to run. The 40 watt transformer's circuit breaker will trip off if you put too large of an electrical load on it. If the engine light stays on while it sputters, the track or the engine's motor and electrical pick-ups may need cleaning. Older engines that haven't been run for a while can get stiff. Your engine may need some lubrication.
Ι've just joined 2 ovals
It sounds as though you may have two defective transformers. Lionel has reported problems with some of their smaller transformers. I would have the transformers and the engines checked by a Lionel service station or contact their customer service department for help.
Lionel 313 bascule bridge
It sounds like the counterbalance spring is loose or disconnected. I would rather add weight to the counterweight box to take some load off of the motor...Use fishing sinkers, one or two rolls of pennies or equivalent. Also do not overtighten the spring you will warp the base of the bridge.

What is sketching?
Artists often sketch out their thoughts for a painting
before actually painting it. Sketch sets have paper, pencils, colors and other
items such as pastels, and charcoal that one would need for sketching purposes.
A sketch is the first step you need to do before you start painting.
How do I remove air bubbles from resin artwork?
I often get asked the question, "How do I remove air bubbles from epoxy resin artwork?" If you've ever seen blisters or bubbles in your epoxy resin artwork, then you're not alone. It happens to the best of us. These air bubbles are caused by trapped air. There's two ways to get rid of that pesky air: 1. Gently push the bubble to coax it out 2. Pop the bubble The best method for removing air bubbles is to use a Dremel or drill bit (which is what I use). It makes easy work of pushing the air out and makes perfect round holes as well. Now when time comes for casting resin, don't forget your hole!
Press drying flowers
What you can do is put the flower between two pieces of tissue paper in a heavy book and microwave the book for about thirty seconds at a time until done.
