Try to put it on another pci slot. if you are using the one right under the agp, then that is your culprit.  the agp and the top pci slot share video resources.  just put it on another pci slot, if you have to swap another non-video related card to the one just beneath the agp slot.  Hope this helps.

Try going online to call up the specs on your motherboard. You could also call Acer or check their website.

my examination of AMD's AMD Radeon HD 5000, HD 6000, and HD 7000 Series CrossFire Compatibility Chart tells me that these cards are not interoperatible in crossfire. See for yourself at AMD CrossFire Compatibility Chart 18.January.2016

These schematics are almost impossible to obtain unless you are an employee. It is a lot easier to buy a used replacement card on Ebay If the capacitors are leaking, I would check to case cooling fan. The case is probably running too hot.

Chris, let's back up just a second. Before you go for a new graphics card, just what problem are you trying to solve? If you're watching TV, the graphics you already have are likely just fine. If you feel your system is slow doing regular stuff, more RAM may help, or a faster disk drive. About the only thing a fancy graphics board will get you is faster screen updates for gaming. If that's what you're after, you may want to consider a full system update, with standard height case, 500 watt power supply and all of that....

you may need to enter the BIOS and change the graphics settings to external graphics else it will try to use the on-board graphics, which won't work if you have disabled the drivers Start from scratch, reinstall windows 7 then check the BIOS is set to use on-board graphics. Does the display work ? if it does proceed to the HD6780. Put it in the slot. boot to BIOS ad change to selection to external graphics or whatever is appropriate, Then go to the AMD webpage if you can and use the sanner to automatically find the driver for your card and automatically download and install. be aware that it may try to install software that you don't want by default. If don't want the software, deselect it it (usually by unticking boxes) hope this goes well 7.March.2015

ok I am guessing this a question... Check if your computer is set to mirroring what you got in your computer to the second screen.

if you don't know what your doing don't do it aka if it aint broke don't try to fix it. if you have a manual on the motherboard that tells you how to change bios settings read it LOL
