Where is the power supply
What you are looking for is a small(ish) 4 pin connection....
You should have gotten an adapter cable for it. Should connect to a standard 4 pin ide
The power went out while
Hi there,This is an over-heating issue..Are you able to access the boot menu settings when your system is booting up??
If so you should go to boot settings->over heating shutdown(or something like that anyawy it mean that you will need to set it that your pc does not give up trying to display when your system gets a little hot..) IF this does not work however, your rig is incapable of doing what you want it to do and i reccomend buying a cpu cooler such as this one:http://www.amazon.co.uk/Asus-Cooling-Copper-Silent-Knight/dp/B000XH3RIC/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=computers&qid=1296909339&sr=8-3-spell
I dont know about your budget but i guarentee you that this will not let you down..

I cannot locate my sound card
First make sure that the soundcard is detected by windows.. Right click on My Compter then Properties, on the Hardware tab click on the device manager then look for uninstalled hardware.. if there is no uninstalled hardware then maybe your sound card hardware is not detected by the Operating system you should enabled it at the system BIOS...
Have the graphic card mother board
Is this an Addon card, or a built-in video chip?
Best thing I can suggest with very little information would be to remove the 'card' from System Properties (Right Click "My computer", select "Properties", click "Hardware" tab, Click "Device Manager", double-click 'Display Adapters', right click your video card, and select uninstall), then reboot your computer to let Windows reinstall all drivers for the card. This may fix the problem, it may not. NTLDR is the startup to Windows 2k and above.
My HD 4850 fan is
Your heatsink fan on the graphic card is failing and the motor is going down hill, now saying it has completly stopped..,.. that means the fan motor is done for and need to be replaced to avoid further damage to your graphic card. Would reccommend you not using your graphic card until a new heatsink fan is replaced otherwise you can fry your GPU and suffer a complete loss.
My graphics card will not
How did you get your drivers and graphics? Did you install the whole package? What is the Asus model #? How much Ram do you have? I'm going to do a little research but let me know what you have.

Are you certain that your mainboard is PCIE 2.1 and not PCIE 2.0?
PCIE 2.1 cards like yours will not work on a 2.0 mainboard (2.0 cards will work on a 2.1 board, however) If this is the case, you will need to get a compatible card.If this isn't the case, have you tried this card in a different PC? It could also be that the card has a problem. The last possibility is that there are power issues. A couple of possibilities:
- An external power connector (6-pin PCIE direct power to the video card) is unplugged. Check and re-test.
- Your power supply (PSU) doesn't provide enough power to your graphics card & the rest of your system. Check your PSU's specs against the specs for your card. HIS recommends a minimum 450W PSU, and I would recommend a good quality Antec, Corsair, or PC Power and Cooling or Cooler Master product in the 500W range for this card.
- You got a bad card, or else it shorted out, etc. during setup or installation.
