Cannon Canon i960 Photo Printer - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Canon I960 inkjet printer color shifts
We are experiencing something simillar with our imagepress. As far as I know, every heavily used Canon (or used for a longer period of time) tends to skew colors towards magenta a little bit. We are dealing with it by reducing magenta in color balance menu for all jobs on the printer, but the result is never perfect (especially in grey where is needed perfect balance of colors).

Canon irc 2620 is not printing
You need a PCL driver , down load it from Canon.co.uk\ Support, but if it has a Fiery on the back, then you will need a postscript diver, same site.

How do I open my canon printer to change the ink
Step
1
-
Select the ink cartridge specific to your printer. Canon inks are versatile, so your selection may be as simple as choosing between black, color or a multi-pack with black and color cartridges.
-
Step 2
Turn on your Canon printer. The switch is generally located on the top right hand side of the printer. Open the printer's lid.
-
Step 3
Wait a moment. The cartridge carrier will automatically disengage.
-
Step 4
Put your hand behind the existing ink cartridge and pull the cartridge towards you until it pops out. Dispose of or recycle the used cartridge.
-
Step 5
Carefully pull the tape off the new cartridge.
-
Step 6
Position the new cartridge into the cartridge carrier. Make sure it is facing the correct position.
-
Step 7
Press the cartridge carrier gently until it clicks into place. Some cartridges have indicators to demonstrate that they are properly positioned.
-
Step 8
Close the printer's lid. Print a test page to ensure everything is working properly. ....plz give feedback..

Wireless printing
you need to set the ip on the printer to within the ip range of your wireless router. Then you need to install a mac book pro driver for the canon i960 on the Mac Pro. THe mac pro should then automatically detect the printer and hook up to it

How do I change the
You will find the ink absorbers are at the bottom of the printer. The entire chassis has to be removed to access them. When changed you will need to reset the waste ink counter. Srri but as not a uk model I dont have that info.

Canon powershot sd600
To "full-format" a disk-drive (or camera memory-stick) means to write 'zero' values all over every recordable surface, in order to make any "previous" files unreadable. To "quick-format" means to discard the Table-Of-Contents, and replace it by a file that says that all the "pages" in the drive are "available" to be written to.
Search online for software that can "crawl" through those supposedly-blank pages, one-by-one, and "stitch" them back together into "files". Search for "data recovery camera memory", or something like that.

My camera is making me sad :-(
This was taken from another
site:
My camera displays “bC” or “Err 99” when I try to take a picture. What does this mean?
BC is an error condition in EOS film cameras, and means one of two things. It either means “battery check,” so try putting in a fresh battery, or it’s a general error condition of some type. If the battery is fine, have a look at the previous section for things to check, especially dirty lens contacts or lens compatibility problems with Sigma lenses. Error 99 is essentially the same error condition as BC, only on EOS digital cameras. The EOS D30 also had error codes 09 and 10, which are similar.
I hope that info helps.
Good Luck!

Do you know how the cannon irc2620n comes apart ?
firstly, you may need four people, it's a heavy beast. But, you can remove the document feeder, all the cassette trays, the drum units which just pull out, the fineshir if there is one, the paper deck mto the right, the fixing assembly/duplex unit (two clips), Now try again with all this out and if need be - get two stronger guys.
I think you may need the service manual for disassembly procedures:
irc3200 manual is the same -

My printer cannon ip1980 is now not
1. if the printer monitor says that your colored cartridge has run out, you can press the orange button for at least 5-10 seconds and it will solve your problem. it is called a cartridge reset.
2. if the printer says that it cannot recognize the color cartridge. practically, you need to change your colored cartridge with a new one. However, if you have changed the color cartridge and still the problem is the same, you might have a carriage problem. try to clean the contacts of the carriage and try reinstalling your cartridge again.
I hope I've helped you with your problem.
