Yes! The FastLane brand works. I thought my bounce back was a loss because the remote doesn't work until my older daughter played with her remote control car in the same room. To change batteries: remove the screw on the tab on the back of the flashlight. With thumb or coin, move the tab up to unsnap the battery holder. Slide out the battery holder and replace 2 C batteries.
