Did u get wrong format or codec video onto your mp4?
If so, u have to re-encode your video files first. I recommend u Pavtube Video Converter(http://www.pavtube.com/video_converter/) to transcode video files to mp4 format, cause it can offer u high quality mp4 file in an easy and fast way for playback on your mp4.

When running DSL it is required that all telephony devices have a filter on them in order to remove static and other noise on the line. Sometimes depending on the company will put inline filters for the lines that a telephony only and have 1 dedicated line for the dsl signal. If this is not the case then filter devices are needed.

In your case, i woudl ask if you are using one jack from which a splitter comes out with one line to the DSL modem and 1 line to the fax. If this is the case then is there a filter between the splitter and the fax? if there is not, then you will need to add one.

so it should look like this:

Wall
|
Splitter --------------------------------DSL MODEM----------------Computer
|
|___DSL_Filter___________FAX

if you only have the fax coming from the jack then you just need the filter and looks like this

Wall----------DSL-FILTER-----------------FAX

If you have a corded telephone that you can use to make sure that there is signal on the line that would help in your troubleshooting. When you put the phone on the lien if you hear any static or hissing then you dont' have a filter or the filter you are using is bad. Place a new filter inline as shown above and try the phone. if no hiss or static then hook to fax and you shoudl be good unless the fax is damaged.

Okay... Let's see if I can help you out.

Yes, your cable modem should have a phone jack on it. Are you sure it's a modem and not a router? Do you have phone service through your cable company? If so, your modem should be phone ready. Just checking..... :-)

The first thing you want to do is get your computer completely set up and ready to run (do not turn on yet). Just make sure all components are plugged in. Everything should be color coded and different sizes & shapes making it virtually impossible to cross anything accidentally. Your mouse and keyboard should be the only two components having the same kind of connection but they are color coded on the connectors and behind the computer too. No worries!!! :-)

Next, get your modem hooked up. Plug in power cord and attach cable wire into the back of the modem. Next you'll need an Ethernet wire to go from the back of your modem to your computer. If you're not familliar with ethernet - it looks like a phone cord only bigger.

Next get your printer wires hooked up to your computer as per directions for your specific unit. Should be fairly simple.

Once you have everything connected, power up your modem. Once it's finished booting up, turn on your computer. Once your computer is completely finished booting up, Turn on your all-in-one. Your computer should now be showing...Found New Hardware. Follow on screen prompts.

I hope this info was helpful to you. If you do need further assistance don't hesitate to ask. If needed, I'll give you my # so I can walk you through it over the phone.

Good Luck!

When this error encounters then an error message comes up which states that "Error 1344. Error writing to file. Verify that you have access to that directory." or "Error 1344. The file cannot be installed. Insert the Quickbooks CD and try to install it again".

I would try and reboot the computer and see if that solves the issue. If it still keeps on glitching and freezing after you have rebooted your computer It could also be the hard drive having problems or a bad CPU or bad memory or the power supply is starting to go bad or a hardware problem. Or a computer virus you should have your computer be looked at and repaired from a person that fixes computers.

By Drive I'm assuming you are referring to a memory stick of some kind? Do you have another USB drive you could try. This will help find out if the issue is the USB drive or the computer. If the second USB drive does the same thing it's the computer causing the issue. If the second drive is OK your original drive has a problem. I could have gotten 'corrupted'. This is where the data stored isn't all there so it's confusing the computer when it's trying to read it. Try scanning it with an antivirus software to check there's nothing nasty hiding on there. Can you easily transfer data from your original drive once it is plugged in? How important is the data on the drive? You could try re-formatting it to 'clean' it. *NOTE* Re-formatting the drive will delete EVERYTHING stored on it.
