My Datamax I Class is only printing one one side of the label, is there an adjustment I can make?
1. Right side not printing. Rotate round green knob (possible black center) found on right side of printhead assembly clockwise (or if necessary, through entire range) printing at each stop to check, until printing is satisfactory. If not fixed, next step is to do "Burnline Adjustment" as described in Operator's Manual.2. Left side not printing. Make sure that large green plastic printhead latch on right is pushed firmly toward back of printer while printhead is pressed down, to make positive lockdown of printhead. Try rotating round green knob described in (1) above through entire range, printing at each stop to check. If not fixed, next step is to do "Burnline Adjustment" as described in Operator's Manual.
Prints on two cards
You can modify the position in the menu.
The start position can be prgrammed in the personal settings.
Moving the paperwon't change anything because the printer will always check the top of feed

Try moving the sliding green media guide out from the wall about 1/4 to 1/2 inch, until the white line is under the label path. This green piece holds the label sensor, which needs to be under the labels so it can sense the gap between labels (or the black mark on the bottom side of the backing, if there is no gap). Also, on the printer menu you must choose whether your stock has a gap (aka web) or black mark (aka reflective).
LATELY WHEN PRINTING ON THE
If the media is trying to walk to the side there is too much head pressure on that side. Adjust the green knobs on top of the print head. Lessen the pressure on the side it is trying to go or add pressure to the other to balance the head pressure.
