You are talking about a real number diagram as if it were the schematics of an electronic gadget. there is not much to it. Just a few circles or enclosures embedded into one another. In any case here is an example of what you might want. Add any number you might think of in the correct region.

Pythagorean Theorem?

The formula should be L=(P-2W)/2 or L= (P/2)-W

P is the perimeter of the rectangle, L its length, and W the width. But where do you hook the Pythagorean Theorem here? In other words, where is the question you are asking?

33 + x = 2 (9+x)

33 + x = 18 + 2x

33 + x - 2x = 18

33 - x = 18

x = 15

In 15 years (The mother will be 48 and the son 24).

33 + x = 18 + 2x

33 + x - 2x = 18

Prior to acquiring product, the retailers contact details either as email phone or mail address should have been provided to customer. In the sitaution where transaction was online, recognising the website from which transaction took places makes contact attaianble. For example, sales on amason, ebay websites as online transaction sites makes possible customer referencing by type searching the site from where an acount would have been created that can be retrieved for modifications. Recognise the website from which transaction was completed to retrive customer details.

The stopping distance is proportional to square of speed.

that is 90ft proportional to 40^2 mph.

We can write as 90 = X * 40^2. ( X is a constant of proportionality) .

Which implies X = 90 / 1600 = .05625.

Assume S be the distance at which car stops when the speed is 90 mph.

S = X * 90^2. ( since X does not vary as same car is used)

=> S =.05625 * 8100 = 455.625 ft.

Thank you.

From my previous solution:

a) =N280

b) =N280 + N140 = N420

c) = 1200*5/15 = N400

a) =N280

b) =N280 + N140 = N420

c) = 1200*5/15 = N400

Two ways to get to the same answer:

1) If X,Y, & Z are invested in the ratio of 4:5:6 then the amount invested in Z is 6/(4+5+6) times the total of N1200

= 6/15 * 1200

= N480

(Note: X is 4/15 and Y is 5/15 of the total investment,

4/15 + 5/15 + 6/15 = 15/15)

2) The second sentence says: Income from X plus income from Y minus income from Z is N140 and total income is N700. Total income is 700/1200 of the investment.

As formulas:

(Inc X + Inc Y) - Inc Z = 140 (rewriting: Inc X + Inc Y = 140 + Inc Z)

Inc X + Inc Y + Inc Z = 700

Substituting second formula into third:

(140 + Inc Z) + Inc Z = 700

140 + 2 Inc Z = 700

2Inc Z = 700 - 140 = 560

Inc Z = N280

Inc Z is also 700/1200 of investment in Z.

N280 = 700/1200 investment in Z

Investment in Z is 1200/700 * N280

Investment in Z is N480.

N280 = 700/1200 investment in Z

Investment in Z is 1200/700 * N280

Investment in Z is N480.
