Exactly what extension do you mean?

I would suspect either the starting capacitor on the motor or worst case the motor itself. The capacitors are a fairly common item to fail while the motors are uncommon. Expect a new motor to be extremely expensive.

I had this problem. I fixed it by turning the bowl to face the opposite way.There is a little plastic button - the handle has to be over this.

That handle is actually press fit type handle.The handle needs to be matched the bowls body, then slightly lifted and pressed.But if its not getting attached or still getting loose, or not fitting that way, then sticking that handle is another option.But actually its not glued handle, its press fit type handle.------ But if its not fitting by that way, then glue it, and let it remain untouched for 3 to 4 hours after glue is applied.Then after few hours, you can use it.It will get hard/permanent.------- This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.

It could be two things. The carbon brushes to the motor need replacing. or The motor capacitor is failing. If your motor is running Slow or just Humming and not going round, it could be the capacitor, this can be caused by running in a damp atmosphere or continuous use ie commercial.
