Are you able to rotate the bowl? You know it locks in place if the lid is on because of the safety interlock that goes into the base? Remove the lid and in the channel, you should see the lock pin rise. If it doesn't jiggle it. You can also press it from the top to help it spring up.

The lid for the Kenwood FMP910 food processor should fit the FMP91 model. Both the FMP91 and FMP910 models use the same size and type of lid, so the FMP910 lid should be compatible with your FMP91 food processor. If you are unable to find a lid specifically for the FMP91 model, you should be able to use a lid for the FMP910 model as a substitute. You can purchase a replacement lid for the FMP910 model online or at a store that sells Kenwood products.

Sorry, not a solution but just to say that I need a manual for the same model A532 Gourmet Kenwood foodprocessor.

moved you out of computers it is not. well it can only be the parts inside, board and tach. kenwood has no schematics, ask them yet, only they have them if ever. most do not. its a throw away consumer device. buy the cheapest part on ebay, replace it , if fail move to part 2. and so on. lacking schematic and my nice scope very hard.
