There are two sides to a dual water control valve. One side fills the ice maker and the other side is the dispenser. If one side goes bad you will need to replace the whole dual water control valve. The adjustment is going to be located on the ice maker its self, on the big white part. It's more than likely going to be concealed by a plastic tab. Keep in mind that the water valve could be sticking to. Adjusting the water fill amount could result in no ice or a flooded fridge. To remove the ice tray from your GE refrigerator model GFSF6KEX, follow these steps: Empty the Ice: Before removing the ice tray, empty it of any ice cubes. This will make it easier to handle.
