I have a pair of Motorola MD200 FRS radios that won't charge using the y-connector charger. Has anyone else had this issue? Is it the radio or the charger?

IF BOTH RADIOS WONT CHARGE USING THE SAME CHARGER (SPLIT CORD) THEN ID SAY ITS A GOOD ASSUMPTION THAT ITS THE CHARGER AND NOT THE RADIOS

How do I turn off the qt on my Motorola mc220aa hand heads

QT Noise Filtering The QT noise-filtering feature helps to ensure uninterrupted communication with other Motorola radios that have this feature. This feature also filters out unwanted transmissions from other radios. This is useful in places where there is heavy radio traffic, such as amusement parks or ski resorts. Note: QT noise filtering is not available when the radio is scanning. To turn QT noise filtering on or off: 1. Press MENU until QT displays. 2. Press PLUS or MINUS until Y displays to turn noise filtering on, or until - displays to turn noise filtering off. 3. Press MENU to confirm your selection. I am wanting to programme Motorola cp040 radios what software can I use

Motorola factory software, with a factory cable. You need an FCC License. Take them to a dealer if you do not want to spend a few hundred dollars. No, there are no pirate copies available. Hope this helps.

I have this pair of Motorola TLKR T3, both in normal mode: I speak on 1 and hear on 2, I speak on 2 and I cannot hear on 1.

Check your batteries and clean your battery contacts with a pencil eraser. Transmit is the first thing to go when you have a low, bad or poorly connected battery. It would make a radio appear not to transmit to the other unit. Trade batteries between the units and see if the problem moves to the other radio, this would let you know if it is simply a battery problem. Secondly, check your mic opening on radio two and make certain it is not covered or has debris in the hole. You mention you have the manual, I will attach a link to the manual for others reading this post who may not have it. When looking at the manual it appears using monitor mode checks for a weak signal. If this is the only way your radios will work together you could have one of the following problems: 1. Bad battery 2. Too far apart 3. Not on the same channel as one another 4. A radio with an internal problem https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=3&ved=0ahUKEwj3wY_N7ojMAhXiw4MKHcW4A8kQFggpMAI&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.motorolasolutions.com%2Fcontent%2Fdam%2Fmsi%2Fdocs%2Fbusiness%2Fproducts%2Ftwo-way_radios_-_unlicensed%2F_documents%2Ftlkr-t_series%2Fstatic_files%2Ft3_manual_eu.pdf&usg=AFQjCNG535lkOTh8xUvxv_zPdIjyT2unWw&cad=rja

How can I find freq Motorola gp2000

It takes a computer, programming cable and the software. Best to take it to a dealer. The other way is to use a frequency counter. It displays the frequency when you transmit. But that is way too limited, you really need professional help with a business band, professional radio.

Talkabout T461. Transmits, but why doesn't it receive?

Blown speaker is possible, but not likely. It is almost always the programming. Check that first. I would take the non listening radio and press and hold the scan button down until you get the squelch noise, about 3 seconds. Continue holding it and use the other radio to "talk" to it. If you hear the other radio, it is likely the programming is off. These are nice radios, but easy to bump onto the wrong channel or even setting. Oh! Remove all audio earpieces before trying this.

Bluetooth H520. Why has it been charging(initial charge) for 16 hrs and still flashes red?

Initial charge usually takes longer, but 16 hrs sounds long. Try charging at another outlet port or try another wire.

Clone Motorola BPR40 with PMDN4060AR, but I'm getting a low continual tone from the slave radio from Ch 2 above

Even with a cloning cable, you cannot always clone. The source radio and receiving radio must (1) be the same exact model, (2) have cloning enabled in the software a dealer used when they were programmed the first time. It sounds like you are doing the correct procedure.

I have two Motorola MJ270R and one doesn't work. The LED Indicator lights up and stays on continous, however nothing happens when I turn the radio on. I get no volume nor a display screen. Please help

Trade batteries with a known good unit and see if it solves the problem. If not, your radio has an internal problem and needs replaced. Here's a link to the user guide page. Product Manuals

Motorola radio seems to go to sleep when not used for a while. Battery still fine.

It is called battery save. You push the push to talk about 3-5 seconds and all the radios will "wake up". On most models, it can be turned off, but battery life (time before you need to recharge) is shortened.

Sometimes on Motorola radios, the vox option get left on. Due to both vox and regular PTT option at the same time, may cause them to RX out of both speakers. So try turning off your vox option which should under menu on the keypad

Instruction manual for the radius sp50 Motorola

Before spending much time on this radio, most SP50's will not meet the FCC regulations of Narrowband. We have recycled well over 200 now. Find a dealer, or you could email us with more information (what you want it to do, talk to, etc). There are a few things you are allowed to do with them and we have all the parts. [email protected]

It was suggested that the battery saver feature may be responsible for the radio going to sleep. Where do I find the info on how to turn it off, have looked at operator manual and don't see it?

Some radios do have a sleep function to save the battery. You press the PTT (transmit key) for 3-5 seconds to "wake up" the sleeping radio. I don't like the feature. Model please.

How do I connect Motorola CP185 two-way radios?

Yes, they must be programmed by a dealer to match your existing radios. Hopefully you purchased the same frequency band: VHF or UHF. I f they do not match that, they cannot be programmed to match. I don't know of a single 2 way dealer who would let those go out of their store without programming. Since you bought them elsewhere, another warning is they must be approved for the country you intend to use them in. You may be better off returning them and starting over. Many dealers, such as our store include programming at no cost when purchased from us. Call around to get some prices.

My Motorola T5022 walkie talkie isn't charging. I can't find answers in Internet.

Here's a link to the user guide. Not certain if you are unable to open the battery doors on the radio, or if the work "opening" is intended to be something else. Repost if problem persists. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=2&ved=0ahUKEwjc47e_9IjMAhWmuIMKHWvLAT8QFggjMAE&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.motorolasolutions.com%2Fcontent%2Fdam%2Fmsi%2Fdocs%2Fbusiness%2Fproducts%2Ftwo-way_radios_-_unlicensed%2F_documents%2Fl

I am trying to reset Motorola MTX4550 radios to factory settings

Dealer programming. There is a reset in the software, but none without the Motorola software and cables. This prevents employees from "resetting" their radios "by accident".
