My television will not respond to remote or button inputs following start-up. Is there a hard reset procedure that may allow me to possibly resolve this issue?
Hello pal! I dont really know if there is a hard reset function, but the very same thing happened to me, i think its because of humidity or maybe the very grease of human hands...
the thing is that at first i thought i could manage it trying silly things like keep pressing the tvs buttons while powering on the tv with the remote; it seemed to work, but one day it became impossible.
I was using the tv as a pc monitor, so i didnt care much for a while because it was set on the hdmi input, but one day i changed it and i could never got it back... and after asking at official services and they expensives charges (plus moving such a big and heavy tv) i decided to "solve" the problem by myself and found a manual telling the tech equipment of the tv...
and opened it by myself and carefully deattached the piece that controls the front panel, and it worked!! of course, i rely only on the remote control to use the tv, but its better than nothing.... here you can see it, its on the lower left corner of the tv, as i show on the pic. ask me again if you need the manual of this tv..
be sure not to damage the piece and cables... just in case your future self decides to take the tv to repair service :)
INVERTER NOT WORKING
Check and replace damaged component/s at its backlight inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Viewing it in "Mosaic

No signal from HDMI mode when I switch on the TV
HDMI is an input to the TV not an output. You select the appropriate input e.g hdmi 1, hdmi 2 on the remote. There can be a return signal the other way but the cable has to support that. Try a different hdmi cable.
Picture not displayed (Only LG is getting displayed)
Do you have the set's input selected to the connector you are feeding in the cable or other input? Most TV's have a component input (red/blu/grn RCA type plugs) and an HDMI1, perhaps two HDMI's. If you are not using one of these types then you aren't getting HD.
