Usually the Jabra headset connects via blue tooth. You pair it with a smart phone once. No codes other than the pairing number you see on the phone when starting the pairing process.

Sounds like you lost the ground wire. It could be as simple as the wire in the plug, or it could be elsewhere in the wiring.

You can do this by going to menu-settings then connectivity. Once there you simply select the option to turn ?on? Bluetooth. Some phones don't require you to go to settings first. Not sure if you have provided the correct model. You need to pair the headset with the corresponding mobile phone and then accept the calls.
